Hey guys,
If you're a new trader or an experienced trader
I wanted to share with you my honest opinion about trend lines.
When it comes to trend lines, here’s what I look for:
•⁠ ⁠Three touch points
•⁠ ⁠Plenty of data (multiple candlesticks-the more, the better)
•⁠ ⁠A clear trend (not consolidation)
And if it doesn't feel right, it's probably not a good trend line. I think the biggest issue with traders is that they hop on trends too early and get a lot of takeout movements.

1) A trendline which is sloping 45 degrees. 2) A trendline which is multiple times tested. 3) Price halting near trendline. 4) A trendline connecting recent pivots for Intraday. These are also some important points for a valid trendline.

@@marcopolo3936 I think you misunderstand the concept, it's not predicting the future, it is in fact doing the exact opposite. You cannot have a trendline without historic data.

@@MutlerWheelz The only reason you draw a trendline is to buy or sell in order to make profit. I.e you try to predict where the price will go. I.e. predict what is going to happen in the future. You are so deep in this shit you can not even understand what you do.

People dont understand that the prices of things are never going back down. This inflation is deeper than we think. Those buying groceries are well aware that the real inflation is much over 10%. The increments dont match our income, yet certain investors still earn over $365,000 in stocks and assets. Wish I could accomplish that.

Hey Tori, You were right. This strategy is simple, and discretion is the number one factor, that influenced your profitability. if I were to implement your strategy, I probably won't get the same results. I could make more money, i could make less, but i will only stay consistently profitable, if i spend time building the discretion needed to select high probability trades and ignore low probability trades.

@@Rynopb well sadly if you want great sound you need either a shotgun mic or a podcast mic ( which sounds better ) so I do understand it as I use one daily as well ... RGB will always look appealing to the eyes so if you want to catch attention quickly .... You got to follow those trends so Tori does a great job at that. You need to do that too if you want to do some more cocktails video as well buddy :)

Anyone here use these simple strategies exactly as she does?...ie 2-3 touched trendlines, not too steep? It just seems too easy, and if it was this straight forward, everyone would do it.

No matter how simple the strategy is, your emotions play a bigger factor in its success. Control your emotions and you’ll see green. In order to control your emotions, you must understand and trust your strategy. Don’t second guess your strategy. If it’s been back tested and proven to provide profits, then you’ll have nothing to worry about. The person behind the trade is more detrimental to their account than the strategy is.

I've been using her strategy today on bitcoin lol I'm down money it bot easy but you have to have a large account size like her unfortunately she does not mention what her lot size is not her account size which is key. Also I do like the trader and thinking of paying for her course but I'm still not sure.

I call this strategy genius, because it turns the complex into simple. I think it's simplicity is a concept which is a struggle for some. Perhaps the naysayers are failing to return a profit despite a good deal of thought and effort and that, if they can't do it, it's all fake. The phrase goes 'Trading is the hardest easy-money you'll ever make' and I think that's misunderstood here... The difficulty doesn't have to be on a technical basis (though it can be), but it is the psychological factors which always make it a challenge.

Holy shit this video was helpful. I've been drawing lines on NQ for about an hr now lol Three points usually results in a fourth hit. And even if it doesn't and breaks through the trend line, you can manage risks accordingly. Amazing! (New trader btw. So if this is common knowledge excuse my ignorance and excitement lol)

Regarding the trendline you show at 16:47 where it got broken again and again, how do you know at which break to take your long trade? One would be wrecked if the trade would have been taken when the first few trendline breaks happened. Is it the 3 touch points?

You can't kick yourself for missing out on profits. Taking profits is a part of the game. Squeezing every penny is not feasible and is incredibly stressful. Good luck trading. I wish you well. It is a game and waiting is more important than acting. It is a lot like baseball where you have to wait for the perfect pitch and miss a few potential hits that would result in a strike or foul or even a ball. But when you see the perfect pitch you swing for the fences and if you are wrong, you are wrong but you don't put too much capital into it. Best of luck.

What I do with my broken trend lines is I change the line to dotted to indicate that it was broken. that way I know which line I got in on without having to reanalyze the entire chart again.

You should look into cycle analysis to add with your trend lines. I really helps you know when you should be sizing up or down. for instance the two most recent daily cycle lows in /PL were 4/27 & 6/17. Both times when you should look to go long.

@@Vodka007 there are drawing programs out there that are rules based. That takes the subjective out of it. It doesn't matter your rules as long as you follow them 50x then make decisions on improving said rules your trading will improve. Shooting from the hip and using emotions will blow out your account.

I would suggest to stick with 4 hrs time frame. 5 Min is very dangerous and there is a chance you will be working in Starbucks or Walmart if you continue to use small time frames.

i bought course for $299. now i watching first lesson, 9.30min psychology lesson.
