The gold palette I would say is her most spectacular in person. Pictures and videos do it no justice at all. It was one of the last for me to buy because it looks like it has so many similar golds, but really they're not and they have so much dimension
Are the 28 shadow palettes still worth it, especially if I could catch it on a sale? I’m afraid that the formula was beautiful 5 years ago when it came out, but with the progression of makeup since then, are they still special?
FYI, the 28 pan pallets are in a set and on sale for $310 (regularly $478 for both) on Natasha Denona’s website. I bought both of my 28 pan pallets during her 2018 Black Friday sale at buy one get one free....best deal EVER!!! Not sure if she had the same deal in 2019🤷🏻♀️ but I’m so glad I got them.
I found you this past week and I’m obsessed with your videos! I’ve watched almost all of them. I just can relate to you so much and I absolutely love eyeshadow palettes as much as you do. Btw you have convinced me to purchase a bunch of palettes.
In regards to what you said about the metropolis palette - I actually arrange all my single shadows like that. Warm tone next to a cool tone and then repeat, I think it makes all the colors pop in front of you as opposed to having all similar looking tones together in a boring layout

Well my favorites are Glam and Star, I do not own any of the big palettes and just one mini palette. I had to pass on the triochrome palette too. I like Tropic colors but that last row is just too much work. If you can upload a video teaching your way to make it work, I would really appreciate. I have been wanting the purple-blue, but omg, I already have a lot of palettes lol.
The Metropolis palette was my first ND purchase and I have no regrets! I've got a couple of her other palettes since and it's by far my favourite formula in my collection :D
If you want to get the 28 blue/green and/or purple/blue, sign up for newsletters on ND. She has sales all the time and watch for when she has them. I got mine for basically 2 for 1. It was still expensive but worth every penny. I have seen this sale several times since I got mine so you may be in luck. I LOVE both of them and don’t regret it at all! Great list, Morgan! Every mini palette I got I always got them on sale I think mini gold is my fav out of the ones I have and then I got the cranberry in boxy pop up for $9
My green/brown pallet is being delivered tomorrow! I know it’s soooo expensive but the value is there. I took advantage of Beautylish’s payment plan! I will probably pay it off early and then get the purple/blue pallet. I think they are on their way out as Sephora doesn’t even sell the brown/green pallet anymore!

I’ve decluttered the Lila palette. I found that I wasn’t wearing it. I don’t love purple like you do Morgan. My first palette was the mini Lila and that one was terrible. It was decluttered, too. The purples and blue were not the best. Finally, I decluttered the Sunrise palette. I liked some of the shades. The shades I liked I had in other palettes. My favorite palettes are ND Biba, ND Glam, mini nude, & ND Bronze. I want to purchase the Gold palette at some point.
I want the metropolis so bad but I can’t just put down 111 pounds right now 😭😭😭 I tried The bronze palette last month and I just fell in love with the formula, just wish she had more palettes at the 65 dollars price Loved the ranking thought, it’s really helpful for when I get the courage to invest 😅
I was really interested in purchasing one or two ND palettes but I wasn’t sure until I saw your videos ! Specially because those palettes are super super expensive to buy here in Mexico, but I got Biba, Love, Metropolis and Safari and I’m so glad I did it. Love them all. I love your ND videos!! I rearrange the palettes that don't make sense to me, but I love the colors. . I thought that not having the colors match their original names would bother me, but I find myself reaching more for the palettes that I've rearranged vs the ones that I haven't.

And: is a palette still to expensive when it is your most used palette of all times (for me the green/brown, but also love the other one!): when i don't know what to put on my eyes: the green/brown!!! But the shades and quality in the other one: we have to stop her from stopping these beauties! I just got Mini Gold as my first ND palette. I am IN LOVE with it! But also I saw that there are not many natural greens in the bigger palettes as in this tiny one. I'd love love to see a greenery & earth kind of palette.
Every time I see the regular star palette, I kick myself for not buying it when I had the money. Lol I LOVE the green brown palette. I get overwhelmed by it sometimes, but the quality and the colors are so gorgeous. I’ll never get rid of it unless it starts growing something.
I have most of her mini palettes. I didn’t want any of the other palettes but after watching this now I have the safari, Lila and Biba palette on my wishlist! This was a dangerous video to watch lol!!😂🙈
I had the mini star years ago and I didn't really care for it so I gave it away to a friend but after watching Morhan talk about the mini star, I kinda wanna repurchase it😅
My top 3 Natasha Denona palette's are the 28 pan Green-Brown, Gold and the Metropolis palettes. Great video to remind me to use my favorite ND eye shadow palettes!
The Lila palette was my number one for a long time until the Glam palette came out and now it’s definitely my number one. I love love love cool tones and the quality of that palette is amazing. I still love Lila but Glam beats it for sure. I hadn’t used Metropolis for a long time but I used it today and I was like omg why haven’t I been reaching for this, it’s so good!! I’m obsessed with your eye look today btw, so gorgeous!!!
I wasn't sure about the metropolis and then I bought it, rearranged the shadows and absolutely love it now 😊 It gives the gold in my collection a run for it's money!
I have only the Metropolis and Triochrome, and I love both. Triochrome is probably most unique palette in my collection, and I like the more subtle multichroms anyway. With Metropolis, the color scheme is amazing, and the formula is like nothing I've tried before. Can't wait to see her next release
I love Natasha Denona, I recently purchased both her purple/blue & brown/green 28 pan palettes and I can’t put them down! The quality is sooo buttery and I just love both those palettes.
Would LOOOOVE to try that mini nude palette. I’m more of a neutral color and this palette is PERFECT for a really pop of brightness in my color!!!!! ThT bronze palette looks good too.
I did NOT care for the boring colors in the GLAM until I thought to myself hmm...something fast that adds depth with a sophisticated pop of shimmer...Yup I just got it and it was SO FAST to complete a look with zero thought ( being a professional I do not need the refrence shade names ) but its nice to ad that for beginners *) I got a look so fast again with no thought process *) I did get it just before the sale, but plan to get the tri chrome during the sale for Spring and Summer colors ** I do have a simuliar palette being Tiny Marvels, but feel the ND one will have more color pay off with the pastels !! I have my eye on the metropolis and If I do I hope it holds true to that deeper green matte, I cant get any olive greens that pull green on me ANY IDEAS ? Will the metropolis pull true to the green shade hmm ?

The lilac palette should have more lighter purples, bluish purples and lavender lilac tones , what I see it has dark plums which doesn’t appeal to me.. the Violet Voss have more variety or purples tones. I’m quite skeptical about this palette particularly
Natasha just has SO many great options….it’s really REALLY hard to choose. LOVE the Bronze palette, Metropolis palette, Biba palette , Gold palette & Green/Brown. Those are my favorites & would love to own them all but there’s just no possible way I could get through all of that eyeshadow, especially since my lifestyles have changed so dramatically. I used to wear makeup to work everyday & now it’s more like 1-2x/week so that’s a huge reduction….it’s such a shame too b/c it was such a MAJOR creative outlet for me!
My first purchase from her is the metropolis.. I had a very bad FOMO on it, lastly grabbed it during the black friday sale. Now I am eyeing on the original 28 pan ones. I don't have any PMG palettes in my collection, but I want one. Can you do a ranking for those??
I'm not a collector, I blindly followed your suggestion buying the glam palette! I'm always drawn to warm toned palettes and I never imagined I would buy this type of colors... And I hated looking at it initially like meh who would ever buy a grey based palette wanting to look great, and why Natasha released this? 😂💔 now I understand oh my God I love it sooo much.. Warm tones never make my dark eyes color pop out.. I have neutral peach undertone and warm neutral colors don't look flattering one me! This made me want to dive more into other cool toned ones that I didn't know I would think of and less appealing like the subliminal by pat mcgrath!!! For the retro palette I agree with you.. The green color looks more grey on the lid, and the glitter shades fallout is unbelievable 💔😩 if her other minis have near amount of fall out I won't purchase any of them again unfortunately 💔
Important to mention that many of the Minis are 5 shades out of the big palettes. Like Star, Tropic... This is why I never got the big Star, having 5 of them already. On the other hand I love many of the nameless 5-pans: 02, 08, 09... ☺️
I went out to Natasha’s website and found the Eyeshadow Palette 10 for $45! It’s a $95 palette! Needless to say, I bought it and threw in a mini to get free shipping. Yay!!
I really like the Tropic and Safari, especially if your working within Natasha Denona Palettes these have a lot of lighter/transition matte shade shades that I find lacking from a lot of her palettes. Bronze also really shocked me, as I wasn’t really a bronze/gold shadow kinda girl either ...yeah this palette totally converted me! Glam is cool toned perfection...and also my current fav! Love your eye look....makes me want to dig into Lila !
I am very lucky to own 6 palettes from ND, this video only made me want to purchase more 😁 would probably go for the big ones next big sale on the ND website. I did purchase love and sunset in a bundle this december. Ended up paying the price of one 🙌
just found your channel- I've been thinking about purchasing either the gold palette or the metropolis palette. Been trying to find videos to see which is better since they are currently the same price. I totally understand what you mean when you say the color story for the metropolis palette is not appealing haha. When I look at the gold palette though I just get so excited. You ranked them so close to one another I can't make up my mind still. I wish I could buy both! If anyone reads this comment-- let me know which one you enjoy more! Are the formulas the same or is one better than the other? etc. Really got to research before I drop that kind of money on an eyeshadow palette :|

Agreed with Zendo palette. Also one shimmer shade is bad in this one. For Coral palette, it's just too similar to Sunrise, every color has a dupe in sunrise
I bought the #10 (in boxy charm) and I love the color story and it was $12 along with all the other ones that sold out quickly but I was able to snag that one and the diamond and blush pallet for $18
@morganturner do you think the quality in the mini star is the same as the full size? I’m not interested in the full size as much because I don’t like the layout either but I’d like to have some of those grungy tones in my collection
Yeah I didn’t love the Lila either, I actually returned it. I bought it at launch and I was so excited then I got it and tried and tried and even thought I hate returning things... it costs $129!!!! Too much to be like ehhh
12:56 take out that 4th green shade, and swap it with that green from the mini retro palette that you said pulls too grey on your eyes. It’s the perfect green to go with the mini retro and the grey/green from mini retro will go with the mini gold palette if you swapped them :-) That’s what I did and they’re perfect. I use them way more after swapping those two shades around x

I wish she would re-release the large 28 pan palettes in a smaller style like the metropolis, other than the price, the only thing preventing me from buying them is how big the pans are.
