Scottie Barnes, the Toronto Raptors' versatile forward, has quickly become a cornerstone for the team since being drafted fourth overall in the 2021 NBA Draft. Known for his defensive prowess, high basketball IQ, and relentless energy, Barnes has impressed with his ability to guard multiple positions and contribute across the board. His unique blend of size, skill, and athleticism allows him to impact the game in various ways, from playmaking and scoring to rebounding and defensive stops. Barnes' work ethic and charismatic personality have made him a fan favorite and a critical piece in the Raptors' rebuilding efforts.
Damian Lillard, the dynamic point guard for the Portland Trail Blazers, is renowned for his clutch performances and deep three-point shooting. A six-time NBA All-Star, Lillard's scoring ability and leadership have made him one of the most respected players in the league. His "Dame Time" heroics in crunch moments have solidified his reputation as one of the best closers in the game. Despite challenges, including injuries and roster changes, Lillard's loyalty to Portland and relentless drive to win have kept the Blazers competitive in the highly competitive Western Conference.
Joel Embiid, the dominant center for the Philadelphia 76ers, has established himself as one of the premier big men in the NBA. Known for his scoring, rebounding, and defensive skills, Embiid's combination of size, strength, and agility makes him a matchup nightmare for opponents. His ability to shoot from the perimeter and dominate inside adds a unique dimension to his game. Embiid's charismatic personality and on-court celebrations have endeared him to fans, while his competitive nature and leadership have made him the cornerstone of the Sixers' championship aspirations.
LeBron James, widely regarded as one of the greatest basketball players of all time, continues to defy expectations in his 20th NBA season. Playing for the Los Angeles Lakers, James' all-around game, which includes scoring, playmaking, and defense, has earned him numerous accolades, including four NBA championships and four MVP awards. His longevity and ability to perform at a high level well into his late 30s are a testament to his unparalleled work ethic and basketball IQ. Beyond the court, LeBron's impact as a philanthropist and advocate for social justice further cements his legacy as a transformative figure in sports.
Ja Morant, the electrifying point guard for the Memphis Grizzlies, has quickly become one of the most exciting young players in the NBA. Known for his explosive athleticism, creative playmaking, and fearless approach, Morant has revitalized the Grizzlies and made them a playoff contender. His ability to score in bunches and make highlight-reel plays has garnered him widespread acclaim and a growing fanbase. As the face of the franchise, Morant's leadership and competitive spirit have set the tone for Memphis' promising future.
Zion Williamson, the powerful forward for the New Orleans Pelicans, is a force of nature with his combination of size, strength, and athleticism. Since being drafted first overall in the 2019 NBA Draft, Williamson has dazzled fans with his high-flying dunks, impressive scoring ability, and relentless energy. Injuries have hampered his early career, but when healthy, Zion's impact on the court is undeniable. His unique physical profile and skill set make him one of the most promising young stars in the league, with the potential to lead the Pelicans to new heights.
Mikal Bridges, the versatile forward for the Brooklyn Nets, is known for his defensive acumen and three-point shooting. Often tasked with guarding the opposing team's best player, Bridges' length, quickness, and defensive instincts make him a valuable asset on any team. Offensively, his ability to space the floor and knock down shots consistently adds a crucial dimension to his game.
Paul George, the skilled forward for the Los Angeles Clippers, is celebrated for his two-way prowess and smooth scoring ability. A multiple-time All-Star, George excels as both a scorer and defender, often taking on the toughest defensive assignments while leading his team in scoring. His ability to create his own shot, shoot from deep, and finish at the rim makes him one of the most versatile players in the league.
Victor Wembanyama, the highly touted French prospect, is considered one of the most promising young talents in basketball. Standing at 7'4" with a wingspan over 8 feet, Wembanyama's unique blend of size, skill, and agility sets him apart from his peers. Known for his shot-blocking ability, shooting touch, and ball-handling skills, he is projected to be a game-changing player at the NBA level. His potential to revolutionize the center position and impact both ends of the floor has scouts and fans eagerly anticipating his transition to the league.

I agree with the Dame high pressure. His lower shooting splits last year were disappointing and having to split time having the ball with Giannis didn’t let the offense thrive the way it should’ve. Bucks need to use Giannis almost strictly as a screen and roller so the defense has to choose between a Dame 3, Giannis lay in, or to foul. The offense stalls and dies when Giannis has an iso and he gets bailed out by shooters (sometimes). Interested to see what they do at the 5 if they trade Brook.

Great video! Very well argued. One thing I’ve been thinking about a lot recently, and would love to see a video discussing is team cohesion and how having a team full of guys who like eachother and like playing the game together contributes to winning, the Celtics felt this year like they genuinely all liked eachother, and I think that made a bigger difference than a lot of people acknowledge.

Scottie can only ever be better than Luka and arguably already is considering he’s borderline an elite defender already on top of his still improving yet already impressive skills where as Luka has never even heard the word defence much less play it.

@grbear01
@grbear01 6 дней назад
Luka is inconsistent on defense, but if you watched him in the playoffs then you saw a lot of great defensive plays. It tends to come down to his effort and attitude, as well as how much he has to carry on offense. It’s fair to criticize him on that end, but acting like he’s never played good defense or is incapable of playing good defense isn’t accurate imo
@Tetrahedragon2

These teams that are attached to injury-prone all stars are in a constant pit of hell. You've got one of the best players in the league but he's never there when you need him. Bridges shot around 43 or 44 percent last year. I didn't even realize that until I saw the stats on the screen. That's awful. You would have expected him to have huge stats as the number one guy in Brooklyn. He didn't even make it to 20 points and they traded five first rounders for him? I don't know. I'm pretty shocked seeing his numbers from last year. I know it's a good fit and the guy plays both sides of the game but if they don't achieve extreme success this is going to be thought of as a massive overpay. The Knicks have a couple guys that are being underpaid but that's not going to last for that long.😊

Bucks last year literally had a good record against good above .500 teams and the games Lillard shot like 45% FG (or 50) and above last year, the Bucks lost like only 3-4 games in that sample size. His contract wont be like a Beal/Wall/Westbrook contract since his game will age much better and his impact on the offense contributes so much. Remember he won a playoff game on his own and then played on an injury - if we kept Jrue we’d be in the same situation with a horrible half court offense. Jrue does well on the C’s since he’s like a 5th option which lessens his load on offense - for the Bucks he was a 2nd option and had horrible statistical games in the playoffs for us, we needed a 2nd option that would give us more variation, better half court offfense, and would make Giannis stay.
@whatshorts
@whatshorts 4 дня назад
Do you think they would have had a better, worse, or similar season if the Dame trade hadn't happened?
@Bruh-do4dn
@Bruh-do4dn 4 дня назад
@@whatshorts I think record wise they would do better since the signings and coaching changes they made were tailored to Jrue on the squad (Griffin + signing Beasley/Payne, having a defensive player like Jrue they added offensive pieces). However, with Jrue as a 2nd option our half court offense was terrible - especially in the playoffs, where he was terrible for us on the offensive end (even in our championship run). We would have a better record in regular season because the squad was made for Jrue (not Dame) at that point, but our ceiling in the playoffs would not be a championship (probably CFs) because the offensive load on Giannis would be too high and teams could just focus defenses on him solely as the main threat (also Dame trade basically locked in Giannis for an extension, he could’ve left if we didn’t do anything). With Dame, our ceiling is a championship and with the past squad (Payne, Beasley) our floor was lower, with Jrue it’s the opposite. However this year we added a defensive guard next to Dame (Delon Wright), and already added a better wing in Taurean Prince compared to Crowder and the rookies may get more PT - so we will have a better record this year .

If you like entertainment don't watch basketball? I wanted to see AI covered in tats with braids hit a nasty dribble to floater, I don't care about somebody's FG% it's just basketball, was I a bad fan not into the culture(probably not as a kid from the bronx compared to some random from philly) some guys with their hard ons for stats lol
