I get goosebumps listening to this for the first time. Maybe this is the right time to start watching the anime.

Bruh this is the only anime opening to ever make me cry. The visual storytelling in Ranking of Kings is the best I’ve ever seen. They can convey every emotion perfectly without uttering a word, and it’s really powerful.

This is possibly the best Anime opening I´ve ever seen

When they changed the Opening song i got really excited and this opening song didn't let me down , this gives me goosebumps

Spoilers from Op ahead Here's why this opening is a *masterpiece* Let's go in order of appearance, starting with lyrics: 0:08 "Someone is swalloing tears, right now" Bojji and Kage are. (0:09 STUNNING visuals from diffrent sides of the plot keypoints.) 0:017 "Shake off power from malicious source": That's the demon's power that robbed Bojji off his strength for King 0:23 "Sure you can't hear" they show Bojji right away coz he can't hear and the line is about him 0:30 "But hero doesn't needs power right now": Bojji is the strongest in show without strength. 0:44 "Everything I've fallen love with": They show King and gir's loving scene with kid demon 0:46 "The curse that fell upon me": Beautiful superceeding lyrics and they show Ouken and Miranjo who got cursed. 0:55 "All of the things I've fallen in love with": They show what's important to all those characters. Apeas holding mirror Miranjo coz he cares for her. Didas talking to mirror coz he loves the girl behind it 0:59: "Give me enough light to protect them": They show Bebin protecting and parenting the snake. Kage's mum parenting him. Hiling being protective towards Bojji 1:04 "Strength..." That's blunt translation at that second. They show Bojji and Despa there because they worked on Bojji's "strength" 1:06 As someone said in comments... Miranjo jumps off the cliff but Bosse saves her with his giant hands. Then shows her brilliant world 1:23 "Kage is closing in, asking what you are" Kage comes out of shadow and approaches Bojji This opening truly shaked me to my soul. Made me question what am I doing with my life right now. I didn't have that answer. It got me face to face with my traumas I couldn't overcome. This opening gave me chills

愛して「しまった」という歌詞が秀逸過ぎる "I just loved all" "I shouldn't have loved but did " "How couldn't I love all" 色んな訳が無限にできますよね。

this opening is underrated

i think this is the best anime opening in history. nothing will ever be as good as this.

This song just hits different man... Over a year later and it feels like it was yesterday when i first heard this song. The emotions i feel are just as raw as the day i first listened to it.

One of my favorite Openings.

The weed flower blooming in sync with 'chikara ga' was also emotional

It's been a while since I've seen the OP and a burst of emotions suddenly hit me. I cried watching this again especially this part 1:00 🥲

This is the Best OP for me this 2022.

It makes me chill every time I listen and makes me so emotional. Not only the protagonist's story but the king and the girl's story gets me so hard. The way they edit the mv by showing the girl's pov, when the king reaches his hand to save her from falling and shows the whole world's grandeur, burst my tears ngl.

No puedo aguantar, siempre se me salen unas lagrimas al escuchar este opening :,(

SPOILER: Just realized that the sequence in 1:06 is when child Miranjo jumped from the cliff until Boss catched her and subsequently brought her to various places during their journey together

Love this insane opening but you got too many people that wont stop talking during the beginning every second when nothings happening so all i hear is noise rather than reactions
