thank you so much for the overwhelming support on this video! I didn't think anyone would be willing to watch such a long video of my ramblings but I'm glad you all enjoyed it! Just a reminder that I do have a clear bias for a group and you might not agree with it, that's fine though because I love hearing everybody's opinions on their rankings! :D

Why 88 is the best commissioned song and nothing will ever come close to it - Saki's birthday and Tsukasa's birthday are 8 days apart. Tsukasa and Toya's birthdays are also 8 days apart. - The song is 88 measures long - Tsukasa smiles at exactly 88 seconds in the official video - IT JUST SOUNDS SUPER GOOD

I absolutely adore the wonderlands x showtime songs in the top! I'm so glad glory steady go, milk crown on sonnetica and showtime ruler were ranked higher since they're some of my favourites :]

I absolutely love wxs songs/covers 😭 THEIR VOCALS ARE JUST SO GOOD

At first I was worried that I was barely seeing any of the wxs songs at the lower ends of the list, then I realized it's because most of them were at the top- Man I couldn't agree more with like, 75%? 80%? of your choices. Wxs supremacy y'all. And I agree with you on Dappou Rock, it hurts to see it so low on most people's lists, I for one, LOVE IT. Though I found it interesting that you didn't like Shiho's voice, because I personally liked it. I think her voice feels flatter and more dull because most of the time her lower vocals are meant to harmonize with the other girls which I'm super fond, it helps give the vocals more depth. I guess I just found it interesting to have one of the members of an all-girls group sing lower harmonies for the group. But her voice can sound off when you only have her sing, because it's lacking the overall power that the higher notes give and the song will overall be more muddied together and blend in too much (in my opinion) so I can see why her voice can sound not as great. Look at me gushing over music once again I'm so sorry-

As an avid fan of lost one’s weeping, was quite disappointed with the pjsekai version. The song was the whole reason i downloaded pjsekai. Honestly am curious to how it wld sound like if Niigo covered it. so glad that i have the Rin ver. now

Glory Steady Go and 88 as top 2 is AMAZING. The songs are amazing (nene's voice in the songs is just *chefs kiss*) i dont see a lot of people talking about those 2 songs so im happy someone loves them😍

I feel like many of the Niigo covers (specially when Kanade is in) don’t go for a “powerful” voice for characterization. Sometimes it sucks, but then again, it gives the songs a different feel, making them worth listening to (for example, if you want a powerful Inochi cover, you’ll most likely want to hear Mafumafu’s cover or even the original version, whereas softer versions like the game’s one are hard to come by)

Mann I understand what you mean with the top wxs songs, it could be the worst day of my life, I could be angry af, I could feel empty in a deep depression, but I feel like listening to them would cheer me up so much. I cant help but smile with most of their songs and even seeing their goofy dances help a lot too like- I love them and their way to bring me joy everytime

I usually like original versions of songs more, but..I prefer 'Traffic Jam' cover more than original (flower just sounds unbearable for me in this song) Tho, VBS cover doesn't sound that good after listening to great 'Traffic Jam' cover by Nyanyannya

Justice for PAIII SENSATION and Jishoumushoku

As a Miku fan, seeing someone call her voice "too tobotic" is weird. Like yeah its a programm what do you expect it to be like? :") Ps. I was disappointed in the ROKI cover, since Im used to listen to more powerful covers of these songs. Sekai version lacks that strong feel in the chorus when everything just bursts out.

Gimme x Gimme is a lost cause. Even if you dislike other songs, they're all objectively better then Gimme x Gimme. I have no idea what happened in An and Akito's recording studio, but like... It's so dull. The energy and the tuning of the original worked so well with the vibe and the instrumentals. The comments of the original were praising it so hard, saying it had the energy of a phonecase with glitterwater and charms in it or something, that it was so unique, so wonderfully and delightfully executed. The imagery, and voices, and instraments, the volume ratio, everything is just so harmonious. WHAT THE SHIT WAS GOING ON IN THE VBS RECORDING STUDIO???????? 0:10 YOU HAD 2 PEOPLE WHO'S VOICES WORK WELL TOGETHER, AND A SONG WHOSE VIBE'S NEED A SPECIFIC TYPE OF VOCALS . AN AND AKITO MIGHT NOT BE PERFECT FOR THE SONG, BUT THEY WORK WELL TOGETHER. HOW DID YOU MESS UP THIS BADLY?? COMPARING THE ORIGINAL GIMME X GIMME AND THE VBS COVER IS LIKE COMPARING THE BRIGHTEST AND JUICIEST OF APPLES TO THE FUCKING HEAVILY UNRIPE, LIME GREEN, BITTER, DISGUSTING, REVOLTING ORANGE. I think 25ji Miku is meant to sound super robotic, she's meant to be kinda emotionless and lifeless, after all 25ji is completely centered around depressive shit (besides the occasional Mizuki and Ena shenanigans) in general i think they are just meant to be softer and duller, not very strong in their voices, especially as a group, though a powerful Mafuyu song would not make me complain lmao!

Hitorinbo envy in proseka is a sin cause of the way how it was cut >:/ Edit) no growling in "HUUUH?" in ussewa is also a sin (idk if it's in the vid lmao Im at 1/3 of it rn)

I agree a lot with this ranking, honestly. For some reason a lot of people don’t appreciate Miracle Paint too much and 88’s Sekai version is super polarizing (like, some people hate it and others adore it). Also a lot of people tend to hate on Dappou Rock because Len is kind of tuned badly (in that his voice doesn’t really slot in well with Rui’s and Tsukasa’s). Honestly, whenever the group version of a song really sucks and there’s AVs available, I usually just buy the Another Vocal of the group member that I liked the most in it, so I don’t really have bad things to say about most songs. I do have to add that Rettou Joutou, in my opinion, has the best improvement from in-game to album, just because An’s vocals sound so much less strained in the pre-chorus in the album version compared to the in-game version. Although, I personally really liked how Shizuku sounded in Happy Halloween (not as much as in Shoujo Rei, but she still sang really well like she does in every song)

personally a lot of the prsk covers flop for me cause of the mixing of the vocals like some of them would be SO GOOD if there were some vocal effects added or the mix was bit lower ect. its SUCH a shame

i am HEAVILY biased against wxs, their music kinda hurts my ears because a lot of it just has a lot going on and their voices can be too high at times, but 88 shooting stars is so good i will say that lower being that low kinda hurt my soul oh and one more thing, a lot of the songs you called covers and/or said you liked more than the originals were actually commissioned songs, like ready steady, showtime ruler, etc. if you wanna know all the commissioned songs, just go to the pjsk wiki and look at the events list! the thing listed as the "event song" for each event is the commissioned song for it!

You were right about Afterglows Night sky patrol of tomorrow cover! I really disliked that song. The vocals, beat, pretty much everything about it just wasn't it for me.
