I think the whole reason why the show was centered around Emma so much at the beginning is because she was the one bridging the gap between the degrassi high era and the degrassi the next generation era even tho Emma was irritating sometimes she wasn’t that bad to me 😂but I get why people sometimes hate her I also loved the whole drew Eli and Clare pregnancy plot but it made me sooooooo mad when she lost the baby because that whole plot and the anticipation was for NOTHING😭 especially cause they spent almost the whole season planning the baby and stuff By the way love all your videos Sis i’ve been binge watching all your videos

Emma was up there with Darcy, Peter, Ashley and Ellie. I couldn’t STANDDDD ANYYYYY OF THEMMMMM! They all grinded my mf gears😂😂😂 Emma currently sits at number 5 on my least liked list now that I’m watching the episodes again from season 1. The Drew/ Clare/ Eli plot was like I said in the video some of the messiest drama in the show and I was HERE. FOR. IT!! My thought on the baby thing was that the miscarriage happened because they were leaving, imagine they had the baby and we NEVER got to see Eclare as parents, or we saw 1 or 2 episodes with the baby. I would’ve been PISSSEDDDDD! So yeah, as sad as it was, they did the right thing for the fanbase I think.

I agree that they hadn't found their footing in season 1, and it is pretty boring, but I dont think it should be clumped in the same way with season 2. Season 2 is better and sets up really important dynamics and plot points.

I hated on this at first, but deleted to come back and say this was actually a great list. I haven't seen past season 12 (because they haven't released on DVD and I didn't wanna buy digitally[I love my physical collection]) but this is a great listing. However you should include the OG Degrassi as well. Degrassi Junior High and Degrassi High. It's in the 80s so obviously an acquired tasted to go to now but if you ignore that then it's actually really great

Ya know, I wanna include Degrassi Jr High and Degrassi High…but I don’t think a lot of the people that watch me have watched it. I’ve watched both a few times all the way through and I really enjoyed them. I might have to redo this video and include the entire series. Btw, if you wanna watch the rest of the series (DJH, DH and DTNG) is on the Degrassi RU-vid channel, that’s how I’ve been rewatching!
