Hi PeteRock. First of all thank you. I do plan to bring Aaron back for future videos. As for the MSG Stormwatch concert that you saw, I guess you saw a fan toss a rose towards Ian Anderson? The thorn hit him in the eye, causing my Nassau Coliseum show on that tour to be postponed by one week. Thank God he was ok and the show happened. I am babbling now, but thank you for watching and commenting.

@@allornadaaccordingtojack7601 just looked at my ticket stub,( yeah, I saved them!) I went on first night 10/11. Famous Rose throw was next night. Btw, the opener was U.K. Next year at MSG the opener was Whitesnake! Just an awesome memory.

Songs From The Wood is their best album!! Pretty close is A Passion Play!! I think A Passion Play gets more memorable the more you listen to it! Of course that goes with most albums, but A Passion Play is unique in J. T's catalogue because the somtimes querky - strange melodies becomes strong special evoking melodies that are one of its kind if you invest time and eford!
@allornadaaccordingtojack7601
Hi Yngve, and welcome. I love SFTW, and Passion Play as well, especially Overseer Overture.

Good morning Jack and your guest. I like Tull not as well as Zeppelin though. I have some of there albums Aqualung, thick as a Brick, War Child and there Greatest hits. My favorite songs are Aqualung, Cross eye Mary, and Locomotive Breath. I have listened to these ablums for a while. I'm not sure which one has Locomotive Breath on it. I just have to tell you this when my father was a live he belong to the Odd Fellows and the Masons and a lot of different parts of it. I belong to the Eastern Star and I'm a pasted Matrion. I was listening to the history of the moody blues and they had Ian Anderson on he wanted to play the flute with this was after the loss of Ray Thomas.

Hi Melanie, Locomotive Breath is on Aqualung. Maybe our lists will persuade you to dig further into the Tull catalog. Thanks as always for watching.

@@allornadaaccordingtojack7601 I probably won't get into there catalog. I like there music but not enough to get more of it. I've gotten into Eric Clapton crossroads a lot and those are more then 4hrs each. There all Blues music with a lot of different guitar players on them. There's a lot that I need to get. I've been getting introduced by Pete and other viewers about different music. I can't believe all the music from 1972 that I never heard of.

I deal with Perseveration. Which in easy description is stuck thoughts. I’ve had a song stuck in my head for 6 years now. It’s Japanese Boy by Aneka. Came out in 1982. When I hear people complain about a song stuck in there head all day. I have ZERO sympathy.

Cry You A Song is modeled very closely on Had To Cry Today by Blind Faith; the riff, the drumming, the soloing, even the lyrics almost a complete lift from the Blind Faith song

No offense intended and I respect all opions and we can certainly agree on how great Tull was; but I am blown away by how many people put Heavy Horses in their top ten list. But number 1?!! Outside of one great song (Moths) the rest are mediocre at best, terrible at worst with lyrics that are trite and straining to be, well something. Journeyman compared to Skating Away? One Brown Mouse compared to One White Duck, not to mention a bad song ripping off the title of a great song. Rover compared to Cold Wind to Valhalla? Acres Wild compared to The Third Hoorah or Back Door Angels? I am one of those rabid fans of classic Tull who thought HH was the beginning of a downward slide. I was not alone. There is a reason why War Child was number 2 in the U.S. and HH number 19. And the only reason it was that high was because those of us who grew up on their great work up to Songs From the Wood assumed HH would be the next winner. All the Tull fans I knew where disappointed. My list, if you care. Not that you should, but if not you've stopped reading by now anyway. 1. Thick as a Brick 2. War Child 3. Minstrel in the Gallery 4. Living in the Past 5. Songs from the Wood 6. A Passion Play 7. Too Old to Rock and Roll 8. Aqualung 9. Benefit 10. The Broadsword and the Beast 11. Stormwatch 12. Stand Up 13. A 14. Heavy Horses (This high because Moths is worth the price of admission.) 15. This Was I wouldn't argue with anyone who wanted to rearrange the top 12 on this list, but hope we can agree that their later work doesn't belong. Did try to get into it. Bought Rock Island. Listened to it once. But the classic 15 still makes Tull the best ever in my humble opinion. Of course I am an old timer.
