couldn't agree more. I'd also like if everyone was more opinionated so it would feel more like a debate because as a viewer I have never had a lot of the things their trying so I'd probably be more invested in the game if they were assertive
I don’t know why Josh hasn’t been appearing in GMM all that much. He was literally everywhere at one point, now he doesn’t even show up in food related episodes. Maybe he wanted to focus better on the Mythical Kitchen series and Channel, or maybe he has other things going on, but I kind of miss him (I’m not THAT into cooking content so I don’t tend to look for cooking relates content, so I’m not getting the Josh fill I need lol)
@@Supertaldo916 I’ve noticed it too they seem to be ignoring the opinions of the mythical beasts and doing whatever the rest crew wants. Josh would have been preferred over Jordan in this episode
@@terrenced.1586 I think your problem is that you like the taste of your toothpaste too much, never had a toothpaste I associated with mint ice cream 😂
When I went to culinary school, we had to use the most descriptive words possible when doing our tastings and all I can think about is wanting to say “more flavor, better” 😂
One thing about people that went to culinary school- they will definitely tell you they went to culinary school. Good job, you spent thousands of dollars to learn how to sear a steak. 👏👏👏
This is a cool new episode idea, but I think a bracket might be better. If you’re doing the winner stays model though, maybe the chip that lasted the longest should have a chance to go against the last chip, if it didn’t already.
Agreed! Also, don't have a panel member that doesn't like the majority of what they are about to taste. ;P They are going to naturally go towards the least bold flavors.
@@vocs75yeah , i feel like the “more flavor better” dude suffered from the exact same thing. zero feedback or reasoning, just any bolder flavor at all somehow means its better.
This was okay, but I think they should have just done it in a bracketed tournament style. That way you do not have a repeat of one flavour chip being there for almost the entire episode.
Yeah, you could get sick of a favor after multiple try in a row. Especially without palette cleanser when one favor dominated for so many round in a row.
I think the format is fun but I agree that something needs to be changed up a bit. Maybe if they started with the least popular and moved to the most popular then there would be more variation
Yeah, I agree. You can get a flavor that wins because it only stood up against one chip, whereas a chip that has to stand through multiple rounds has to face a lot more scrutiny.
I relate to the "every man". Bring him back! The panel deserves such a hero that represents us the normal people with basic food pallets. We are proud god damn it! 😎 More Spice? Good ⭐️✨️
It felt like the female crew member in the middle of the panel was not liking link for the whole beginning as far as I’ve seen but I’m literally only on round two as I type this
@@belak217 those 3 people shouldn’t be on his show in the first place. People watch Rhett and Link to see them, not those random people. Get them outta here
The first time I had spicy sweet chili Doritos I ate myself sick on them and I’d never done that with Doritos before so I definitely agree that there’s some manipulative food chemistry magic going on with those 😅
Personally I prefer the regular gut check. But I agree with everyone that this would be better in a bracket style as well. This version just felt too slow
Really like the larger sample size with the votes, but you need to compare the winners in tournament-style brackets. That way we can see side-by-side comparisons between the best options before a winner is chosen.
I like the format but there should be a slight alteration. The ending should come down to a few champions. 1. The chip that ousted the most others (cool ranch) 2. The chip that ousted the one that beat the most (Sweet chili) 3. The chip that ended up the last winner (tapatio) I think they should compare those three and come down to their champ as per usual!
Joining the team of a bracket system would probably be better!! Also Kalyn was such an agent of chaos choice for this episode if she hates cheese and cool ranch 😂
Maybe next time you guys use this format you should bring back whichever one made it through the most number of rounds to be part of the final round as well. Sort of like how on gut check there's a final comparison of the highest scoring things, but instead of score values it'd be based on rounds survived.
I prefer the gut check format (mostly due to just how many flavors get included) however I have no problem with things changing up here and there. Haply Friday!
It’s funny to me that the whole point of this game is so that Link won’t skew the results too much, and yet he only disagreed with the final verdict of the group one more time than Rhett did (not counting the time he abstained from voting).
Why? Rhett and Jordan voted almost identically, and 😢think we know by now that they're the most accurate. If anything it made me trust the Sporked ratings more!
What was the purpose of having kaelyn on if she doesn’t like anything. Would’ve been fine if she was at least entertaining to watch but it was just awkward..
I feel like this should be bracket style, or else it’s just a group version of “next best thing”. That said, if there aren’t enough flavors, a bracket may progress the video too quickly. Love that the crew is involved!
I'm surprised to not see Taco flavored Doritos included. I know this isn't the 60s anymore....but back in the day Doritos came only two ways...plain and Taco flavored.
There was a Salsa flavor of Doritos when I was growing up that was incredible! I also really enjoyed the BBQ flavor. They were odd at first, but once I knew what to expect they were great.
I agree with you on the BBQ flavor I really don't think they gave it enough of a chance . They kinda had a predetermined opinion on them it seemed like. I do respect there opinion though.
The girl in the middle is probably a great person, but gosh she is a downer on this show. Everyone seems to be walking on eggshells around her. She’s an energy vampire.
I live in Canada and literally make Doritos for a living. We have a flavour up here called 'Sweet Chili Heat' that I think might have won this game. One way or the other I love seeing Doritos on this channel!
Is Spicy Sweet Chili not the same general idea? It's my absolute favorite Dorito at any rate, it's amazing. If y'all have an improved version up in Canada, I'm moving there.
