Finasteride scored 8 in effectiveness and minoxidil 10? Really strange considering that Finasteride tackles the root cause of hairloss (DHT) and is effective for more people compared to minoxidil which doesn't work at all for a lot of people, and as a standalone treatment it's poor since it does not reduce DHT. Finasteride is also way more efficacious long term, we have 10 year studies showing it's effectiveness. I would give Finasteride 9 in effectiveness and Minoxidil 7, and put Minoxidil in B tier and keep Finasteride in A.

Bro i am on 1 mg finasteride for 5 month and now i am taken 2.5 mg oral minoxidil for 20 days which cause shedding on overall hair, when did shedding stopped and i see results.i never use topical minoxidil yet.should i use topical too or oral minoxidil works same as topical.
