Ranking the Crazy Map Soundtracks from Worst to Best (FE2)

Honestly, I'm surprised decaying silo was rated the very lowest out of the best crazy map osts. I would've ranked it at 2 or 1, but I gotta agree how poisonous chasm is great.

respected tier list will gladly mention here that Decaying Silo was originally somewhat experimental, it was meant to be similar to desert ruins' OST. I do personally think it fits the pacing of the map. either way, it's the map's iconic theme now, it can't be changed any further. thanks though!

I used to really dislike Ignis Peaks’ OST but it just ended up growing on me the more times I listen to it. That sudden jazz part I don’t mind now and I love the chaotic feel of it. Definitely sounds unique compared to the other OSTs and I like the heavy guitar in it I gotta agree with your ranking of AVM and PC like they really enhance the gameplay experience and I love the adrenaline and this impending doom type of feeling they have

Tbh i was suprised when i saw how low Decaying silo was, i was expecting it to be either #4 or #3. And ngl i would change AVM to #1 and Posionous chasm to #2

I agree with poisonous chasm being #1 because that guitar is just godly.

Fact: 99% player can't beat crazy map because : slow, not teamwork, and not on the path,worry!!!!

pretty interesting tierlist. DS on lowest will def get people mad LMAO but if the video is about that, imma tell what i think: 6th: SSR. it just feels like a damn mess. something straight out of an Flash game, thats what i thought when i first heard it. it also doesn't sync at all as youve said. so...yea. 5th: IP. experimental, just like the map itself. Dominos actually delivers the most funky soundtracks - he made IP and Club Quarry. what you missed is that this song is actually *slower* in tempo than most! the map itself is also experimental. there are no tower sections inside IP, its a giant lava river; a slope. so, to conpensate, the lava rises almost constantly...but slowly. which is shown in the soundtrack. however it has the same issue SSR has - it is overwhelming, and kind of messy. 4th: DS. okay, look. i fucking hate the map as a whole. it just sucks with the whacko pacing. but if you take out the horrible design out of the equation, DS OST stands on its own rather well. Elite also made a V3, cuz the map itself got a remake again in CM, where it sounds MILES better, AND also has no siren sounds! so... 3rd: AVM. holy shit AVM. this is DS done right - absolutely relentless, in both difficulty and OST. Elite and the OG mapmakers also made a V5, so i aint saying anything here - you already know how FE2 version goes! hehe, wooaaa... 2nd: PC. thematically fitting and amazingly composed. the map as a whole is tricky to navigate, but as much as the track is good enough alone, i think they made the tempo a little too fast for the map...tho there is an older version you can look up on YT, which ALREADY started with breakneck guitar shredding. still a good listen tho. 1st: BM. yep. the classics never fail. this was quite frankly the Magnum Opus of FE2 for a big while, and for a good reason. the soundtrack fits the futuristic-techno aesthetic of the map, and it perfectly syncs with EVERY section of the map. with its release back in...2020? 2021 or so? yea, its really great, and it stood the test of time well. honorable mention: Snowy Stronghold. jesus christ Elite just doesnt miss. its the same tale with BM, it just fits the map like a glove. especially the past-tower section. fills you with a ungodly strife for survival and completion. especially when the tower-to-lavafall zipline syncs with the drop. i like to yell "COME ON!!" when that happens, haha. good map, good music.

My rankings would be 1: Decaying Silo ~ I love the different layers of the song, especially the tower part which ramps up the urgency for the rest of the map. Godly 2: Poisonous Chasm ~ Its Poisonous Chasm. 3: Ignis Peak ~ I personally loved the ost since it came out. The transition from rock to jazz may not be the best but it works. I love the uniquity in general. 4: Chaoz Japan: Its intense and fast pace just like the map. I also love the Japan vibe of it too 5: Sandswept Ruins ~ It's overall a solid ost, especially towards the end where the intensity ramps up. 6: Blue Moon ~ It's perfect for being the first crazy ost. It implies that you can't make too many mistakes or you won't make it. Amazingly composed 7: Snowy Stronghold ~ It fits the map, it's not doing too much, but just enough. 8: Avm ~ I don't hate this ost, I just don't find myself wanting to go and listen to it exclusively like the others. It fits the map well

Decaying Silo at 6 is wild. You said youre rating them off the way they sound not about what map theyre in. 😭😭

Personally 1. AVM: Beyond perfection. 10.1/10 (V5 is 10.2/10 it's just so fire) 2. PC: It has nothing wrong but just can't beat AVM OST. 10/10 3. DS: Insanely good but my experience with the map itself kinda ruins it for me. Though since I can listen to it on Crazyblox's channel, 9/10 (new one would be 6/10, the missing siren sound just makes it feel odd to listen to) 4. SSR: Also insanely good, especially near the 1 minute mark, but it's kinda offsync, 8.75/10 5. BM: Very good, though only if you're in the map itself, but anyways 8/10 6. IP: It's not bad at all, though it just doesn't fit the map well, 7.5/10

My tier List: 7# Ignis Peaks Doesnt really fit; the jazzy style doens treally flow imo 6# Blue moon It is really good, but there is little variety, just upgraded beats 5# Sandswept Ruins Very nice, however i do think the main drop should be a little more intense 4# Poisonous Chasm Its good, but i like the other 3 better 3# Decaying Silo Its just a good soundtrack. Fits the map imo and the WOAAA is legendary 2# AVM Step brother of DS but better 1# Snowy Stronghold Do i need to explain this?

Since everyone is doing their on tier list, here is mine. 1st - Decaying Silo - Besides the horrible and laggy gameplay (i never vote for decaying to be an official map), i think the ost is a banger itself. I really dislike the map, but, for some reason, the ost is consuming me. 2st - Poisonous Chasm - It's just perfect and unique, i can't take it off my mind. The second map added into the game was a second BOMB, the choices that the devs were doing, weren't a disappointment. 3st - Ignis Peaks - I like how CHAOTIC and MESSY this one is, it really fits the theme. I played the old version too, i liked both ost's and i think both are good enough. I really into noomlek maps, they are really good and well built, i just don't understand why they didn't added the updated version that noomlek did to the design. 4st - Blue Moon - As the first crazy map added in the main FE2, it feels so good to listen even after a lot of attempts. The creators really gave a BOMB for the main game, i don't understand the hate from it though. 5st - AVM - I used to listen to it everytime, now i feel like it just feels off. Maybe cuz of A MISSIL of attempts trying to beat and i ended up losing my QI and interest in the OST. I might change my mind after the revamp that Mar_R10Z is doing and the ost is kinda different. 6st - Sandswept Ruins - Same as AVM, it just feels off, i would like it to be the remake of ELiTe instead, which is way more intense, i like the map A LOT, however, the ost just don't satisfies me anymore. Just my expience from a lot of attempts. I hope no one feels offended from this.

I have finally found someone who also thinks Poisonous Chasm has the best soundtrack. It fits so well with the map and really gives that boost that makes gameplay so much more intense. It’s just so fun to play Poisonous Chasm while listening to this soundtrack

My Ranking (With the June Highlights): 8th. Sandswept Ruins SSR's ost is one of the few songs I flat out dislike. It fits with the map in terms of the fact it's as annoying as the map itself is. 3/10 7th: Ignis Peaks You basically took the words out of my mouth for this one. 4.5/10 6th: Blue Moon Blue Moon's OST feels... underwhelming. It fits well, and it has it's moments, but I just prefer the rest of the OSTs. 5/10 5th: Chaoz Japan I honestly really like this song. It fits well, goes hard, and overall just enjoyable. If only the map itself was good... 7/10 TIE: 4th: Decaying Silo and Active Volcanic Mines These both go so hard, but they're a bit overwhelming to listen to out of game. They fit well imo, both giving the rush that fits them - escaping a collapsing silo and running from the rapidly rising lava in the mines. 8.5/10 2nd: Poisonous Chasm Once again, you said it beautifully. 9.5/10 1st: Snowy Stronghold GOD I LOVE THIS MAP. Absolutely a banger, and fits the map perfectly. It's not over the top like AVM, not repetitive and boring like SSR, and conveys the theming of the map without sacrificing anything for it. 10/10 *Fight me over SSR and Ignis.*

Ignis peak is alway and will be my favorite ost and map besides lava tower, Sinking ship, and also the map thay you escape flod escape 1 (flamiliar ruins and beneath the ruins). Ok i guess the fe community gonna hate me for saying that IGNIS PEAK IS MY FIRST FAVORITE FE2 OST!

My tier list. (Including highlights) 1:Active volcanic mines. This track hits hard and I think it goes along with the map so well. It gets so good around the tower part. 2:Snowy Stronghold. This one is very difficult to rank between 1st and 2nd. This is easily one of my favs. To be honest its like a tie between AVM and SS 3:Decaying Silo. I agree its not the best with its pacing but come on it just sounds so fire. When shit gets going on this song it stays consistent. 4:Poisnous chasm. Its great almost all around this track is also fire this one and DS are very interchangeable for me, both tracks are fire 5:Blue moon. Dont get me wrong the blue moon track is really good. I love that beginning sound at the start of the sound track, its a perfect start to this song and hits different. 6:Sandswept Ruins. W OST I just enjoy the other ones a bit more. But still in my opinion this OST fits the level the best it just goes with the level I think the pacing good and just the overall way it sounds goes with the level perfectly. Just not for me that's all 7:Ignis peak: I used to hate this OST but it has grown on me even though its this far down I still enjoy it. It fits the level good pacing. I dont mind the jazz part. Its a really good OST but like Sandswept not for but still love it. 8:Chaoz japan: This might be the only OST that I dislike. I just dont think its good. The song when you start climbing the tower it just does not work. It does not do what the soundtracks do. I will listen to the other OST's willingly but this one is like "oh its this level".

Honestly I understand why you put some of the maps in the placements they are in, but in my opinion i do think all the crazy maps ost do have potential. But for #1 I would probably go with SSR. It just slaps. Good List!

ok since everybodys doing theyre tier list of crazy map soundtracks. here is mine #1 is Active Volcanic Mines. It is seriously the best song in the game. And it fits VERY well to escaping a flooded volcano. #2 is Poisonous Chasm. Its song is very pretty and good. It also fits pretty well. #3 is Decaying Silo. It is a REALLY good song but I think it change the whole vibe. And it takes the theme of Active Volcanic Mines and kinda makes it sound bad. Also the alarms make the tower part annoying. #4 is Blue Moon. The song is pretty good. And fast-tempo to make the song sound like your actually running from a bunch of lava-cheese stuff. But the song keeps repeating itself over and over in a different pitch or way. So it gets pretty boring. #5 is Sandswept Ruins. It sounds good but it also gets pretty boring. Just the same song repeat technique. #6 is Ignis Peaks. the song is seriously horrible. idk what the composers thought when they were making this.

Poisonous chasm is the best by far. I just want to play the map because of the music. It also wins the teophy for being the most underrated crazy for SOME reason. How about snowy stronghold? New map but it’s permanent. Small opinion + placing maybe. Sandswept ruins is my last its kind of boring still a 7/10.

i think sandswept ruins has the worst crazy ost because its very badle executed in therms of samples and does not fit at all with the map. the only good thing would be the syncing but whatever then the rest of my personal ranking is Poisonous chasm (overrated ngl) Ignis Peaks AVM Decaying Silo Blue Moon

Ignis peaks is number one for me. I don't get why people feel like it doesn't fit with the map. However, I'd understand about the jazz part not fitting with the map.

Nice list, here's mine 6. IP - I prefer the Original OST of the map (before the Audio Update) because It gives a bit of emotion rather than the current one which while still great, it's too jazzy 5. AVM - this is a very great OST in my opinion, however, a newer version of the OST makes it lower 4. DS - basically the same thing as AVM 3. BM - Another very great OST and a memorable one as well 2. PC - Same with BM 1. SSR - fr I love how the OST turned out, just being perfect in pretty much anyway Anyways, nice Video

I completely agree with poisonous chasm, I was praying to see poisonous chasm on the top and I DID!! It fits the map very well and I would listen to it even out of game.

My Thoughts -- > ------- -- -- -- -- -------- 1. AVM (Active Volcanic Mines) Brilliant soundtrack. It fills the player with tension and dread, giving them a sense a urgency to beat the level. The music never loses its intensity and always stays at the same level never giving the player the time to relax to take in what's happening. It definitely holds the crowd as one of the most well-executed OSTs. 2. SSR (Sand-Swept Ruins) The beginning has a more eerie tone, fitting the environmental features as the tension isnt as high at the moment. As you slowly process through the level, the music starts to build up, the tension grows as the sand piles in faster and faster filling players with adrenaline. 3. (Tied) DS (Decaying Silo) This map's OST is amazing. It fits this mechanic rocket-facility with the constant screws in the music, and how grandiose it feels in the beginning, almost overwhelming. Then, the music picks up when you reach the tower-section. So much is going on, the lava is rising faster then ever, a rocket emerges and flys into the air, and the tension never cuts away or gives you a second to think, with only the thought in your head is to always keep on moving. 3. (Tied) IP (Ignis Peaks) Ignis Peaks is one of the more unique soundtracks. Its intense, and the beat never ramps down or up, and the music takes sudden shifts as into jazz, and back to guitar. It really fits the level, of a once functional facility submerged by lava. 4. PS (Poisonous Chasm) The music is really good. What I heavily enough is how all the poisonous zones all share the same music beat. Through each level, the intensity grows where poisonous chasm hits the breaking point. Acid rises each second with intense music overlaying each jump and button you press. 5. BM (Blue Moon) Probably the weakest out of all of the crazys, but it is still a good OST. Tension in this soundtrack isn't really present, and the music doesn't really get the user to panic or freakout. It feels overally relaxing, and sometimes it doesn't fit the stage of the level.

I would consider ignis 6th place and ds 1

Tbh, the ratings were actually true. Ignis is quite the same OST for the old one, but overwhelming. Active Volcanic Mines is mixed at the end with Forsaken Era OST which is ok but just off. Decaying Silo is obviously AVM but cold and worse 💀 Blue Moon is alright. Nothing much to say about it, just the gameplay. Sandswept Ruins... The music feels rushly made.

Personally, the Ignis Peaks OST is my least favorite. I can't really understand why they didn't just add in the OST Domino made. It wasn't really intense, but it fit the map way better. At least the Magmatic Mines OST was improved to be way better. And personally the Decaying Silo OST is my favorite, I just feel like it fits perfectly for such an intense map.

welp heres my rank listed with real reasoning to why I think wtv place the map is in. *#1* Active Volcanic Mines - Same thing you've said which is why I put this 1st. The creators of the OST definitely worked hard on the OST to make the edits sound very soothing and nice in the OST. BEST PART is theres legit no way you can make this OST not fit with the pasting in the map since it's literally forced at all times to fit with the pasting in the map. And the end even though its more calm it can still sound intense on the last button part while the lava is about to closely get you. This without a doubt is the best imo. Also mind you, because PC imo is the EASIEST crazy map, you can definitely get ahead the pasting of the theme and finish the map quicker than OST since PC is literally not that hard compared to the other crazies which is why Active gets a higher point since I've said that theres no way you can get ahead of Active's theme in the map since it's forced. *#2* Poisinous Chasm - Basically same thing you've said, PC theme is actually a W. Beautiful instrumental and not a too chaotic or too calm theme but mixes both to fit this cool sounding theme. *#3* Decaying Silo - Im surprised you put this OST last place lol. Decaying Silo is a fast paste map like Active and obviously requires speed and the map can get intense compared to other maps. The 2 big towers are a great example in the map, the soundtrack and it's alarms and guitars sounds the best in those and at the very end part with the last button it has a nice soothing end theme to it even when your done with the map ( compare that to Blue Moon OST, it dont even have a proper end theme like how BOTH Snowy Stronghold has one and Decaying Silo ), Now compare the current final theme of this vs when this map use to be a Highlight, even though the OSTs are very similar you can clearly tell they edited stuff like the very beginning part which I like those edits alot. Now even though this map is more of a Winter/Ice theme, Im sure you wouldnt want an OST like snowy peaks ost or crystal caverns ost in a fast paste intense map like Decaying Silo. In my Opinion this OST is undoubtedly good and fits the map very well. *#4* Blue Moon - Blue Moon OST, was always a classic and actually has nice tempting OST to make it sound more serious so u can ofc ( try at the end ). Blue Moon OST is actually good and fits the pasting of the map. You can easily tell when you're early or late in this map and it has times when the beat is more chill and still pasting. W OST for Blue moon, no issues with it. *#5* Sandswept Ruins - This tbh was also a nerf if you ask me. The OST of this map is very good and repetitive and can kinda fit the theme of the pasting of the map ( better than ignis ), it loses to the old OST without a doubt which is Sedimentary Temple OST ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fMJQsZz5ljY.html ). I'll even explain in detail, for one the old OST is more Desert theme than the one, cmon you can easily hear the desert theme in the song. notice how in the beginning of SSR from 1st - 3rd button, things get repetitive and then a bit more chill after the 1st zipline ( which Sedimentary temple does very well ), the beat of the old OST and the Guitar is muuuuuch better, and sounds very compassionate at the mid-end SSR after the rescue in the map. No doubt old OST is better, u can watch old gameplay if u want, least new OST still better than ignis and fits better too lol. *#6* Ignis Peaks - This is very ez to explain why it's lost lol. This OST got nerfed and worst soo badly compared to its older OSTs. For a map that's literally red, evil/scary, slow lava but very fast time pasting theme map, HOW DOES JAZZ AND RANDOM BEATS ALL OVER THE PLACE MAKE SENSE OF A MAP LIKE IGNIS 💀💀💀💀.
