I'm surprised you like the beginning of Rob Zombie's Halloween. For me personally it retcons the original movies. Michael is supposed to simply be an evil seed with no real explanation why. In Zombie's version it's like "well he's evil because his dad was a piece of shit and his mom a whore".

I completely get you! For me I didn't mind it reconing the original becouse it's a remake, so the change up didn't bother me as if it was a sequal or prequel. I 100% understand why people don't like it though. Cheers for the comments i love speaking movies with everyone.
