Ranking the Gorilla Tag Soundtrack

This video came out when caves revamp was released so any song after that isn't on this list. Also these are just my OPINIONS and YES I REGRET THE SHADERS!! Hey Majora! Great video I really enjoyed it! All of the songs fit the theme of the maps! I find "Monke Go Swing" super nostalgic! I have been playing gorilla tag for more than 2 years so "Cave Wave" is a nostalgic banger too and I really miss it! However OST is very cool too!

First of all, great video! Also I really agree with your opinion, some of these are classics and actually bring sense of nostalgia.. I feel that the OST is pretty underrated, sometimes it has really cool vibes and as there are more and more MusicMonkes joining the team I'm really excited for what they'll do later! (:

I honestly find the whole Gorilla Tag OST to be pretty underrated! Every song just fills the environments of the monke world with L I F E in a way that makes the monke experience more engaging as a whole! While some songs don’t stand out as much as others do, I find that they all fulfill their purpose well and I enjoy listening to them from time to time. :)

I cant believe two of my favorite songs of all time got put in an average b teir💀 i just havent experienced the nostalgia but fr, the basement and Halloween music hit hard for me

ya know spelunke monke is one of my favourite songs. Its because at the start it's mysteries and fits the place with the river at the entrance and i also like the cave wave reference. The after beginning song does fit the musical crystals in one of the rooms and the big crystal too. parts after this just sound heavenly and frick.

Majors just want to mention. Caves is gone. It’s officially callled Caverns. And is considered an entire different map from Caves.

the campfire song is nostolgic, i only started playing december 2022, but thats when things started getting updated a lot, well like 5 months after, so much has changed

i really like the new caves update but i miss old caves and the feeling the fear of being in a ghost lobby and having a modder chase you around down there was so scary but fun

Here's my list (my opinion as someone who's been making somewhat good music for 2 years now) S: Cave Wave, Shiny Roxx, Campfire A: Spelunke Monke, Monkebone Bash, What the future holds B: Nice Gorilla Store (Lofi + Hifi), Monke Need to swing, Beach Cove, Mountain medley Everything is good so no C D or F for you :)

I muted every single map with music because I wanted to hear people better, I had them muted for like 5 months, but when I unmuted the maps the wave of Nostalgia hit me so hard for when i first started playing the game, now I keep them unmuted :)

dude bonebash doesn’t sound good now but the Halloween 2022 was top 3 updates of all time, and the vibes that song gave off at that time was amazing, so I would say A tier

I think the lofi for city is actually used for outside the shop, which I knew as soon as I heard it in this video.

Quick fun fact City music is nostalgic for me I started playing in christmas 2022 update on my brothers vr and when I found city this music was playing

Me personally, the "Monke go swing" one will always be a S tier song in my tier list. It's that type of music that brings me back memories on how much fun i've had in this game. And it's just a good song, the drums, the bass, the flute all make a perfect combo. But it's my opinion and at A it is very much valid ranking. Good video! 👍
