Amon did, we just never saw him heal explicitly. The creators said he used a mix of healing and blood bending to take away people’s bending.

The seismic sight shouldnt be the name of the skill More like see through bending, or bender-sense Some bald airbenders can "see" by air vibrations, some earth benders can see through earth vibrations, and even though its not shpwn at the series, maybe some water benders can see through ice and water I think its more like using bending material itself to have another bender-sense, not just seismic for earth

There are some like bolin who we saw earth bend a lot before he could lava bend. But gazhan was known for lava bending, seeing him bend earth freezes my brain for a split second lmao

@rottenkittenparvo It literally was an anti-team avatar. You had a waterbender, and earthbender, an airbender and a firebender. I really liked their chemistry together.

There's also glassbending too, and Immortality that Kyoshi learned from Lao Ge which is technically originate from Earthbending. Also not really a sub element but Dust-stepping was a thing during Kyoshi's era. Earth really holds endless possibilities.

​@@redswordz9131 crystal bending is and isn't really a sub category. That was the only and only instance we seen someone do that. Yes he made a grabbing motion and the crystals broke off katara and and sokka but there's no cases where yiu can create it yourself. You'd have to be surrounded by it which is only exist in specific locations. It's not really worth mentioning

Someone did do that actually. I can't remember his name, but so one of the Air Benders in the series took away the Earth Queen's air from all around and inside her body, effectively killing her. I used to be so scared of that scene lmao

@@iagogaming9133 its kind of a retcon in the use of the term because I think LOK broke the ATLA rules of the spirit world anyway... Basically I'm saying spirit benders are energy benders or chi benders, based on the words of the Lionturtle that unlocked Aang's endgame ability to bend the energy within himself and other people. In my story I meld what ATLA and LOK depict about energy and spirit bending. Light benders bend their own inner light to do the kinds of things that Korra does in the battle against UnaVatu. Shadow benders bend their shadows to do what Aang does but rather than bend other people's chi, they're bending the chi or shadows of physical objects in a kind of telekinetic effect (because e=mc2, all matter is just highly organized energy). So in a battle, a light bender might shoot bolts of light or form weapons like Green Lantern while a shadow bender may manipulate physical objects to make a shield, even very pure metals like platinum. I'm limiting that manipulation to just macro actions; so they can lift, push and pull or even break things, but NOT alchemically transform or magically transfigure objects. I've also thought about giving them a special master level technique like Zaheer's flight for air benders and call it spirit walking; the ability to shift between the spirit world and physical world without a spirit portal.

The next Avatar after Korra is going to be named Genji.

No, airbenders are, as we saw in Korra they can literally take the breath out of your lungs instantly with ease. Only reason the air nomads were all killed was because they were pacifists and couldn’t predict their own demise.

I imagine the reasoning is that you can only bend what past avatars have bended, unless it was given to your native element. Even then, i dont think any of the avatars would want to learn bloodbending unless it was necessary

true, but it still remains the fact that only 5 ever recorded benders could blood-bend, and all of them were prodigies born with the skill. With that, 3 (if i remember correctly) out of those 5 needed the full moon.
