They’d be even more scrutinizing over this draft the next two weeks- it’s getting obnoxious. This is all moot if Washington selects Drake Maye, which everyone predicts Commanders are picking Jayden Daniels. I like Daniels & Maye. Daniels at a stretch is 210-215 LBS, once he starts playing his weight will drop to 205 and risks ending up in the medical tent.I like Drake Maye over Daniels because he’s 21 years and athletic and has the prototypical QB body at 6’4 225. Maye can make all the throws and will need time to mature. Maye can’t start his rookie year, proper coaching and development can make him a worthy investment. Hoping New England drafts Drake Maye and they start the rebuild. I’m out on McCarthy I can’t see the kid out performing the top three. If Wolfe drafts McCarthy he should be terminated that night.

If you want to look at pressure to sack ratio, check out JJ Mccarthy and then look at Penix Jr.

Penix Jr has an incredible pressure to sack ratio of 7%, drake Maye was just under 20%, and Daniels and Caleb Williams are way over 20%. Based on this I would trade down to 11 draft Michael Penix Jr, and add another player at 23, and hopefully a 1st or 2nd round pick in next year’s draft. Penix should be available at 11.

Maye isn't a better pick than MHJ . He wouldn't give us more than MHJ this year or Sanders at QB next year. This is the mac jones situation all over again

If Bill was here they wouldn't have kept Duggar or Onwenu which is what Bill was prepping for when he drafted Mapu and half an offensive line....Bill rented players and used any sap that would give him a hometown discount because he had Brady

Sure Brady was a huge part of Bill being able to cut veterans fo cheaper rookies,but the revisionist history that goes on with Patriots fans is getting obnoxious. All I heard for twenty years was how Belichick was playing chess why everyone else was playing checkers. Everyone kept saying Bill could take chicken shit and make chicken soup. Now it’s Belichick was nothing without Brady. It’s king of a silly notion

@@BrEmail fair enough, it just bothers me that he went from being the greatest of all time to riding Brady’s coat tails. He has been involved in winning 8 Super Bowls either as HC or DC. He lost his fastball for sure and did not draft well in the later years and made dubious personnel decisions. But that does not erase his accomplishments or diminish his role in an unprecedented 20 year dynasty. I get the media dumping on him. He earned that by treating them the way he did . The fans should just thank him. I’ve been a pats fan for 50 years and never in my wildest dreams did I think that level of dominance would ever be seen around here

@@HaleyMac-h1e Bill Walsh didn’t win a Super Bowl without Joe Montana and Jerry Rice. Does that mean he is not a good coach? That’s silly Belichick had his faults but there are not a lot of coaches that have won at a high level consistently without a great QB.
