Donovan's definitely a more complete and probably better offensive player than dbook. They have equal defense, with dbook being a neutral, and Mitch having higher highs but lower lows. Mitch just shows higher value as an option on a championship winning team.

He is also averaging more assist than Donovan. And defensively they are pretty equal, Donovan might have a slight advantage, but it does not make up for Bookers much better offense. And with Anthony Edwards there isn’t a thing he could do that dbook can’t. There is a reason for dbook being team USA starter while Donovan not even being on the team, and Edward’s coming of the bench.

I think Booker is the best sg. Ant is just not that consistent. No one really looks into ant. All they see is his highlights which don’t happen every game. some games ant plays horrible and just isn’t consistent which is why he should be the 2nd best sg

It’s so hard to rank Book, Mitch, and Ant. All three are elite Sg, but they have different playstyles. Booker is the best off ball and on ball player, very versatile. Mitchell is the best offensive player out of the three. Ant is literally the best two way guard, and has the ability to be the best player and take over a game completely.
the 2 way works for me. Id rather have a player who can struggle on offense 1 night but still play good defense instead of being trash completely on a night

@@Scar.BoroughANT is not a good playmaker whatsoever and i think his defence is also being overstated a little. he is athletic and can block shots and make hustle plays but he’s not the all defensive team guard that people make him out to be. his on ball defence needs some work and you could see that in the mavericks series. his off ball defense is lacklustre too
Ant is great but his hype is definitely getting out of hand. He's a relatively inefficient scorer, not a great defender, not a great playmaker, and turns the ball over too often.

If you want to point at something he's bad at, he does turn the ball over too often, his turnover rating is quite bad actually, but your other takes are really, really bad.
Kelly Oubre is a strong defender, is elite getting to the rim and is the ultimate hustle guy. If his three point shot was more consistent he’d be top ten, but leaving him out of the top 30 is ridiculous.

The league used to be built around centers and shooting guards and now both positions are dead or dying. A guy going 15 ppg is ranked 5 and only a few guys are their teams number one. Back in the day the top 10 or 12 guys would be their teams go to. Pretty soon there will be taller wings and shorter wings and the occasional short quick guy to throw a wrench into things or in case the other team throws out a quick short guy.

i remember being super high on the pairing of cade and ivey predraft too lol, his shot just hasnt been consistent enough to be rly good offball, cade also only shooting 35 from 3, think both of them need to take steps up there but hopefully this new coaching staff gets more out of ivey, cade was out there fighting for his life all of last season

Bad take. That 2021 run was against a much weaker league and teams facing multiple injuries. Meanwhile ant just beat the defending champions. Overall Ant is the best sg with his two way prescense and offensive creation, and there's a close argument for spida and book but id still say mitch is better.

Success and history is still an important factor but these guys aren't 35 and we aren't talking about all time ranking. Dbook does not have the playmaking to put himself over spida or ant offensively, and he doesn't make offensive plays like the other 2 because he doesn't have an overwhelmingly great skill on offense. Ant brings gravity with his first step burst and inside game, while spida has a slightly worse driving game but can pull up from anywhere with great efficiency bringing attention to their selves and allowing plays for teammates with their spacing passing and decision making. Book does not have the same gravity because he heavily relies on tough shot making as the bulk for his points, and is a much worse passer than both of them. Defensively, book and spida are equal. book is a neutral while spida has higher highs but lower lows. For Ant, he's one of the best two way players in the league and is a great on ball and off ball player, always brings pressure from the point of attack and is always active. Funny how you say dbook has never had help, but yeah ig he never played with one of the best scorers ever and a 2 time champion and finals mvp, and a consistent all star and an absolute bucket in his prime, never played with them totally.

i was waiting the whole video to see where you had nembhard LMAO most people see him as around a top 15-20 SG at best and when i didn't see him there i genuinely thought you left him off. seeing him at #8 made me happy though, he's a fantastic backcourt partner for tyrese haliburton and if he's able to elevate his game again the pacers will be a top 3 seed in the east. i'm also curious what your opinion on bennedict mathurin is. as a pacers fan, i have more hope in him than is probably rational, but i feel like his potential should at least get him an HM, although i would even have him around 25. i'm not sure how other fans view him but i still believe he has all-star potential, though i'm not sure he'll ever fully realize it.

And being the best defender of the three is marginal because he might be the worst off ball defender of the three with the way he relies on his athleticism to try (and not really succeed) at making up for his issues off the ball. He’s also gotta learn how to play for other people. The reason they lost to Dallas was just as much his inability to attack Dallas’s loaded defense as it was KAT’s woes (plus his inability to guard Kyrie) Right now he’s a 23 year old Jaylen brown. Slightly worse at just about everything. He’s got plenty of time, but he’s not there yet.

Considering the guys like KCP and Caruso have NBA title contributing seasons, and in Caruso's case all-defensive credentials I struggle to accept the idea that Anfernee Simons and Cam Thomas are superior ranked to them. DiVincenzo too who you mention as a winning player, surely KCP/AC are upgrades on him?

@@dre7147 first of all, never once said the word overrated. I said it matters about preference. Yes ant defeated booker in the playoffs, yes hes a better defender than booker and dmitch, and yes hes bigger than dmitch. But booker is more consistent, we shall in the same playoffs where ant can struggle very badly, hot sometimes, cold as hell other times. In the olympics, we shall booker start and defend the best guard player on the other team, and was consistent and 1 out of the 4 players to avg double digit points. Dmitch ant and book are all great, but to me its booker 1 ant 2 and mitch 3. Maybe after this season, or 2 years from now ant will be the definite number 1, but rn its booker to me. Wouldnt say booker got humiliated by ant, ant just has the better team, the suns had kd and booker only. Beal is not the same anymore, and the rest of the team isnt good. Kelly Oubre iis set to start for the 76ers this season at SG but is not in the top 30 here or 3 honorable mentions which includes Buddy Heild who couldn't sniff the court in the 76es playoffs last year. I thought perhaps you listed Kelly as a small forward but he's not in your top 30 in that video list either. Is he really this bad?
