@@theforkliftguy yeah I’ve fixed two cats already where the customer was complaining of everything being dead when it ran just fine before that. Both lifts it was corrosion on that harness down below the battery that runs up to the positive post.

I have about 40+ Komatsu's on my accounts & can honestly say I've never had major issues. But, I will say check every nut & bolt if pre-inspecting a new truck. Hardware comes loosy goosy from the factory 😂

Daewoo was bought out by doosan. They share the same engine in lots of models. Also if you ever see a bobcat forklift it’s just a rebranded doosan. Same forklift different paint job

I agree with the vortec Hysters are more trouble than they're worth but the Perkins diesels hold up. The ones I take care of take 15W40 in the transmissions. The more Toyotas I work on, the more I like them. I tend to hate anything that I'm not used to working on.

Did you grease the new seals and o-rings with ep grease? Always a go to for me since the first few ones i did a re-seal on broke because lack of lubrication when re-installing. The hydraulic oil dosent work good enough to lubricate when installing. Just a tip if that`s the case for less warranty claims. :)

Recently picked up a customer with a bunch of crown CG-9’s for PM’s. These CG-9’s are crown branded doosans that have Mitsubishi Power Solutions Industrial engines in them. Just to do an oil change on one is a freaking mess. Not enough room to get a pan underneath, got to put the whole thing on blocks. When draining the oil, the pan is up against the frame and goes everywhere. I used a piece of plastic to guide the oil into a catch pan. But other than that, I’d say they are pretty smooth running trucks. Keep up the videos man, it’s great to learn from other lift techs and see what you encounter out in the field!

i'll make a separate video about electric trucks here pretty soon. But as a teaser, I'm a big fan of crowns. I think they are the best to learn from if you're just getting into the industry.
