The 6th spot is up for discussion. If we use ELO rankings, the Belgian Jupiler Pro League is the 6th strongest 1st division in Europe. If we use the UEFA rankings it's the Dutch Eredivisie that is the 6th strongest league in Europe. Portugal has the best teams out of the 3 leagues but a league does not exist of only 3 or 4 teams. The weaker teams in a league also count so the Portugese, Belgian, and Dutch leagues are rather similar in strenght IF we consider the entire league.

I think Serie A>>>>>La Liga, in terms of competition, it’s always real and Barca winning every year with the acception of atletico, but after Juves dominance in the Serie A, there’s been 4 different winners in the past 4 years, teams like Bologna Fiorentina Roma Lazio Napoli Juve Inter and Milan all compete, and the teams have been doing really well lately in Europe, even tho they don’t have as much money as the other leagues. I also believe Serie A is the best league of all time

Unpopular opinion: the sire A is the best league because all the teams are balanced having Napoli, AC Milan, Inter, Juventus, Lazio, Roma, Bologna, Etc. and it isn’t farmers league like and probably the most non-farmers league because let’s be honest Man city are turning it into a farmers league Real Madrid at probably gonna win the league Bayern always wins it so that’s why I think the sire A is the best

Where the flip is Eredivisie. Other seasons, it is competitive, but just this season it's a farmer's league. PSV are dominating :).

I'd definitely put the Bundesliga at least a little bit higher than that, mostly because while Bayern did have the league title reserved for over a decade for now, beyond that, it's genuinely the most exciting league where pretty much any team can beat any other team. Has easily the most variance in terms of which teams actually make it to the European competitions, and even big teams absolutely can get relegated here if they don't watch out. Plus of course, the best fan scene in Europe, no contest.

Liga Portugal IS an excting league if you keep up with it, the title race is very heated between Sporting and Benfica this season, and there are many underrated players like Rafa Mujica, Hector Hernandez, Cristo Gonzalez, Simone Banza, Jota Silva and so on and so on. Smaller clubs also produce great games, there's many games with 5 or more goals and it doesn't include the big three, so I think it's worth it to keep watching the league. Also produces great talents

I think currently Bundesliga is the best and yet the most entertaining league in the world. BVB who are not dominating the league make it to the UCl final meanwhile Bayern who are not winning the league this time are giving competition to Real Madrid for a spot in the final. Bayer Leverkusen, a team out of nowhere winning the league despite not having much money like other teams in the league and the world. Also Eintracht Frankfurt also giving competition to other teams for a spot in the UCL. I feel Bundesliga teams have that UCL mentality that is one of their teams always manages to be in the final 4 of UCL’s Premier League teams nowadays mostly choke in these European competitions and that is why I don’t feel that the Premier League should still be considered no 1

I will accept Serie A being second only to premier League, but they are very close. Serie A was mediocre for a while but from 2020 has become super competitive with different winners each year

If we're talking power of the league and their teams Bundesliga would be 2nd rn easily maybe challenged by Laliga a bit but Barca hasn't been that great this season and weak Bundesliga teams>weak laliga teams. In terms of the entertainment tho you're right but i'd put serie a 2nd imo. Not many goals each game but other than the title race there's every team fighting for something

Again underrating the Bundesliga. Leverkusen is the best team in the world right now, Bayern regain their shape and might win UCL, as City and Real are weakened right now. And people sleep on teams like Freiburg who just beat West Ham or RBL, who were far better than Real and would have kicked them out of UCL with a normal ref.

I feel like people don't take into account the overall table when they make rankings. It's not just the top 2-3 teams. The mid-bottom table teams have to play a factor as well. The league consists of more than the top clubs. Premier League is #1, Serie A, LaLiga and Bundesliga are debatable, you can make an argument for any of them being #2. I think Bundesliga is #2 when it comes to most fun/entertaining to watch though, I will say that, otherwise, I think any of them are an acceptable #2. I'm a big fan of Primeira Liga but I think the clubs outside the top 3 are mostly horrible. The mid/bottom table clubs are actually so bad. I'd like to see the bottom of the table clubs in each league play each other tbh.

Bundesliga is much better than Serie A and slightly better than La Liga. Unreal disrespect and also childish thinking that just because Bayern won it 11 times in a row, the league is bad. Leipzig made the "best team in the world“ Real Madrid look like a relegation fighting side and were robbed. And Serie A is just a shit league, Inter is on a good run but not a really dominant european side. Other than them, the league is at an all time low in terms of quality.
