Does anyone else find it sad that these actual artists and animators are STRUGGLING to find any work or get their foot in the door while shows like Velma are just greenlit off the bat because a celebrity (not an artist or animator, a CELEBRITY WITH NO ARTISTIC BACKGROUND) pitched it?

I hate the "guy has a one-sided crush on some girl, he gets a girlfriend, the girl realizes she actually liked him despite never showing any sign of it before, the writers force them to break up for the most dumb reason, he and the girl he had a one-sided crush on get together in the end" trope, it's really stupid and just exists to force some drama

Honestly you could've made a new tier lower than F and just put all episodes of Velma and go "No need for explanation"

I love how you could immediately tell what the worst episode is, even when it's censored. Lmao

Amazing how, despite you only having one episode per show, SpongeBob related content managed to snag nearly half the slots. Guess they found some "benefit" to having two spin-offs.

At least with the cake episode in Kamp Koral they actually did personify the cake and didn’t have Patrick brutally murder several innocent clams over it (they saved his mass murdering for The Patrick Star Show).

Drooling Fool is definitely one of the weakest Patrick Star Show episodes. A new crew of 8 storyboard writers and two outline writers came in two segments later, “Patterfly Effect” to make the show board driven (just like the first 8 seasons of the original show) and I am grateful for that, because if Drooling Fool is what the old writers came up with two thirds into the FIRST season, I can only shiver in horror at what would’ve been created in Season 2 had the crew shift not happened.

The Haley’s On It clip made me fear for the future of animation.

I honestly don't mind Hailey's on It, infact I actually quite like it. And in Escape Doom, I found the multiple phone bit part kinda funny, but when Kristine.. I'd like to say.. Just kept complaining about her not having her phone, it was just irritating. Just goes to show how some people just can't live without their phones or devices.

If there's anything Velma can do to redeem themselves (all of the characters), is to have them all eat their own share of humble pie through a whole season to end it with them solving a hardcore murder mystery by working together as the OG mystery gang. That would return faith in the series. Knowing the creator of it tho, I'd have a better chance to restore the third empire again than she'll have to be introspective and write her show better.

I actually laughed at that line from bubble bass at the beginning "you have your priorities I have mine". Like a full on snort laugh. Idk why that just seems like a line right outta the og spongebob.

There are a lot of different shows with bad moments and some that start off good and immediately go into the dump

You know what’s sad, In that same episode Norville still has feeling for Velma he use his body shielded Velma instead of Gigi. Gigi deserves better. And when Velma accused Norville’s Dad is the Killer, Norville finally call Velma out but all that undo when Velma voicemail I love yo him turning Norville back into a Simp. He should stay in swordsmen school. And Daphne herself admitted *She likes Velma being possessive of her throughout their childhood,* because Daphne has abandonment issue. Oh yes, Velma’s possessiveness is more important that Daphne’s two mom who raised her with love and care. They just not good enough compare to Velma. The evil character in this show. God I got scar from watching that entire show. I don’t know If I can survive I watch season 2.

I can relate to you on the Patrick Star Show episode. The whole show is a mess. It’s Planet Sheen all over again.

As a dc comic fan teen titans go is a major disrupt to the “art” of the original Batman comics and the teen titans original show. And why does Cartoon Network constantly have it airing? Even kids would know how bad it is

I couldn’t agree more with the Tidal Zone crossover, because those stories didn’t go together at all. Next time there’s a SpongeBob crossover, one with other Nicktoons would be great. Unless Stephen Hillenburg didn’t want that! As for Velma, the whole series outta count as an episode, even though it won’t.

I personally really loved the I want to dance with some-Ollie episode of the Ghost and Molly McGee because to me its a really good episode.

It’s like the animators purposely wanted to make fun of people who use their devices a majority of their time by creating a character who loves them too much, has no personality tied to her archetype and says hashtag everything. 🤦‍♀️ like you said, Andrea, terry and KC are much better because they have their own personalities and lives.

Why does everyone always Treat "Enchanting Grom Fright" Like its Episode 5 or 3 of Season 1 😭😭😭 it wasn't THAT Quick.

I'm glad i found someone that dislikes Hailey's On It like me. If you ask me , my least favorite episode of the show is "Seas the Day". Seriously , the scene where Hailey smashes the cake in slow motion broke me the same way Doug Walker felt about the piñata scene in The Cat in the Hat.

I know new spongebob episodes pander to the nostalgic episodes such as the inclusion of bubble bass to the main cast, however, even if that is true bubble bass manages to be the best character in most of the episodes he's in.

Glad I'm not the only person who's not blinded by this stupid, forced "ship" that caused the ultimate character assassination I've ever seen. It was horrible and ruined my enjoyment of the show. Personally if I was to do a ranking video for HBO’s Velma, I would choose all episodes of the show as the worst. Because they all have the one thing in common. _Velma_ is painfully unfunny, hates its target audience and of course. Every character is so unlikable to the point where you end up rooting for the villain.

Real life cats do not have an actual air of superiority. They are simultaneously prey and predator, so they react to things in ways we may find abnormal, or " mean" when they're often just startled or fearful. I really hate people stating the meme as fact, because it hurts how people communicate with the animals, creating very anxious, uncommunicative cats.

I don't like Hailey On It, specifically I don't like the plot of saving the future because it gives the show a conflicting tone. The show comes of as a lighthearted slice of life show but it has this continuing plot line of saving the future. The future plot line feels like it was put in at the last minute to give older auidence an ongoing plot they can make theories about.

I exhausted hating TTG, at this point all I can say about it is it provides jobs and ensures the VA of the series characters can still do the voices.

Criticizing TTG for not using its episode count to "go deeper into lore" is such a weird thing to say when its incredibly obvious the show isn't and never has tried doing to grow in overachieving story, its a goofy comedy it's gonna use it's episode count to tell good stories

I really like how you encrypted all the episodes you were going to review alpha Jay. It makes it a mystery. Not only for people who haven’t seen the show but also for the people watching and that pretty cool.

I’m gonna be honest, calling “a Skin wrinkle in time” one of the worst episodes of the year feels like a major overreaction. I mean, sure maybe it is “pointless”, but in the grand scheme of things, it’s mostly inoffensive compared to like…almost everything else on the list.

Stuff like this is why I'm kinda glad I found shows like The Owl House or Big City Greens.

Unrelated but you know how Nick dropped that Planet Ruby show on Prime Video completely out of the blue with zero advance notice? Well, I’m personally vibing because that means the show has no fandom, which means I can stan Ruby all I want with no one to argue with over whether she’s lovable or annoying. And believe me - I’ve seen what few clips are on RU-vid, so I know that if there was a fandom, it would be a *major* point of contention

You know, that situation with Norville and Gigi just, now this may be a controversial feeling, makes me so thankful in retrospect that they avoided that with Haida and Inui in "Aggretsuko". You can say what you will, but it was a far better effort to just let him hold on to that feeling for Retsuko rather than having him get together with Inui and just have her feel like a third wheel for someone who clearly was getting into that relationship for the wrong reasons. Man, seeing what they were doing with that in Velma just makes me glad that bullet was dodged, though I can understand if people don't feel the same.

You are completely ignoring that Ollie literally DOES have a character arc unrelated to his romance with Molly, which is his hatred for ghosts. You are also ignoring that Molly LITERALLY tried to explain to Ollie that not all ghosts are bad in the episode “Book Marks the Sprite”, the episode RIGHT AFTER they met. And you think that in this season Molly threw away her goal to enhappify the world around her just because of a crush? Okay, so I guess she DIDN’T help save the town’s stores after unintentionally causing Andrea to create an app that nearly put them out of business, she DIDN’T help a star regain his roots, she DIDN’T plan a winter event for the elderly, and she DIDN’T convince her dad to create entertaining videos that would grab attention about real life issues. All that was just in my imagination.

Gotta be honest, To Love a Patty is a great episode. I would even go as far as to say that every episode of Kamp Koral and the Patrick Star Show are great when you compare them to the absolute trainwreck called A Pal For Gary. That episode is forever ingrained in my memory because the writing is terrible, and, most importantly, *SpongeBob is a straight up asshole to Gary.* If you watch Have You Seen This Snail and then watch A Pal For Gary, you would see how terribly SpongeBob's character evolved towards his treatment of Gary

I looked it up and Ollie hates ghosts so that means if Molly tries to get Ollie and Scratch to be friends then it’s going to end with them hating each other more than they did originally, Ollie breaking up with Moly in a fit of rage and Scratch refusing to talk to Molly for two weeks (maybe more). Don’t boo me or anything if it has happened, I only saw season one.

Personally I enjoy Hailey's On It as well as Kristine's role in the escape room episode. I don't necessarily believe it's fair judging her on that one episode when there is more to her character than just a social influencer. But it also sucks since she's also had limited appearances on the show.
