I'm here now listening to this song as last night I gathered enough courage to finally confess my feelings to someone I admire the most, told her how special she is to me and she have this certain space in my heart and after hearing the words I've said. She replied," Im sorry but I don't have feelings same as you do for me and I value you as a friend." Now the lyrics of this song really hit me like it was made for people who are unlucky to be loved back by the people they like. Can really relate so much with this song coz I fell in love with a guy who shared the same feelings with me 15 years ago but no relationship ever blossomed. Why? This hits me hard. 😭 Confessed my feelings to someone last night, but got rejected because of age gap issues and stuffs. She is widowed and I am single and we have a kinda wide age gap and one thing is that i was just a nobody compare to her. She said she was afraid to get hurt again because she had enough.
