Yeah, no. Not seeing the 700 tuned on the 2019 Scott Genius lineup. Everything is listed with the Fox 34 (( Looking at the 2019 920 Genius myself as it seems quite ideal for jack of all trades riding that I'll be doing. Not sure if the Ransom will pedal quite as well but I might experiment with tyre choices too. Not sure on the 2.6 Recon 3C's.
Very similar, it's almost in fact hard to tell the difference between the two! The Ransom with Twinloc pedals SO well only difference is it's a little higher up front so a tiny bit less efficient but you wouldn't know it had 170mm!
2019 Genius has the same ramp selector in rear as the Ransom. Linear or Progressive at the flick of a switch. Think it is the same shock just less travel.

Thanks Scotty. My only question left unanswered is how will it pedal all day as compared to the Genius. With only 20mm difference, but significantly different BB heights, does this LT impact the overall reach and comfort during all day epics when the chairlift is not an option? Since I ride 900 Tuned and 700 LT Tuned, both are tremendously great climbers, but the 900 is considerably more agile. I have compared them directly, so the answer for me is probably most definitely. However, they are really different bikes, and not as similar as these 2. Did you manage this assessment during your comparison, but omitted? I would love to shrink my quiver, but I love riding what I have. Both climb like an XC, but one is off the chart. I can’t see how it could top my 900, it’s amazing.
Can't say I have noticed a huge difference when it comes to BB height with having a bigger shock and more travel you sag a little more into the bike. Climbing both are agile, the main difference is the Ransom is just ever so slightly higher up front than the Genius. Having the Twinloc means the Ransom pedals incredibly well. I mean it's hard to say but for my style of trail riding the Ransom is going to be my go to...

@@MyBonio I wouldn't call anyone "brill" that my Mrs has the hots for. That's beta male territory. I've met this guy, and seen him around a little. He is very self important and arrogant. Not really warranted from a guy that hasn't accomplished much on the bike.
