Love the video, I drove one of these a lot and have a video of my grandad taking delivery new. The stop used to be opposite the thumb throttle on the other side was a copper button to earth the spark plug and stop the engine. Used earth it through your thumb and I hated it for that 😂😂
The stop on my one is under the throttle. But its a matter of choice where its located. Was your grandads an MG40? Not many made compared to the other models. Even less survive. There is a website with surviving serial numbers listed. If you somehow could find out your grandads serial number , you could see if it still exists….
@@MetamorphicWonders yes it was an MG40, I have the original paperwork and it was sold with all the tools, like a plough and roller etc. I even have an original sticker for the logo and cini film of it being delivered. I’ll see if I can find it. I would stand just in front of him and help change the gears. I would buy one if I could find a good one.
@@irisaviation852 see if you can find the serial number on the paperwork, i can check if it still exists. I have a few other films of my crawler on my channel which may interest you.
