Rantaz: Who are The Protomen? 

Do they actually name him in the series/album. I thought they only referred to the robot as light’s monster or it or the assassin?

I know I didn’t mean to insinuate other wise just I didn’t want to call snider Joe the assassin or lights monster so I called the robot sniper Joe and the human just Joe. In my rats nest of a brain that makes sense but I can see that’s poorly written script on my part Srry for that

@@tavila They never name Sniper Joe except for in the song where they list off the Robot Masters, every other time the bot is referred to as Light's Monster or The Assasin. Except for in the stage notes where its referred to as The Sniper a few times despite it never once sniping anything.

@@NylasWUP lol. SteakBentley's analysis of the game uses occasional musical interludes played over "pivotal scenes" to break it up. All of the songs are performed by the Protomen. Finding out that my hunch about the lyrics sounding a little Mega Man-y was correct via your video was a nostalgia-gasm, I'll admit. I have a question for you as well: What is it about Mega Man X6 that you find so disagreeable? As a grown man who was a kid with a playstation once, who spent more time playing Mega Man X5 and X6 than I'm willing to admit to in a RU-vid comment, I have never seen anything wrong with it. I know it's vogue to rip on X6, but WHY?

Honestly nothing is wrong with the game itself. Except that shouldn’t exist, bare in mind this is second hand info and internet rumors that I heard back in the day. Keiji Inafune they guy who wrote the megaman X/Zero series. Wasn’t told about another Megaman X game he was so not looped in that legend says he found out about it by walking by a game store and their it was sitting on a shelf. It’s entirely possible that’s all it is just old internet rumors...but capcom has a long history of dicking over Keiji Inafune story so I don’t find it difficult to be true. But honestly if we take it in a vacuum it’s fine I think X had too many armors and Gate was a lame “end boss” it’s an ok game. The rest of the x series after that were way way worse.

@@NylasWUP yep. True tale. Didn't he kill Zero off just to have him burst in the next title like an armored Kool-aid bot? Makes you wonder if he knew the guy who decided to reverse his intended plot. I guess though, as one internet stranger to another internet stranger, watch that Mgs4 video. Steak Bently. It's long, sure, but I've half a mind to say it's the best video game-related thing on this site. I cry. Every.Fucking.Time. Over a game I've never played.
