Steph I think your love some Roman-tasy books ! Fantasy genre with a heavy focus on Romance I feel like that’s a really good way to change out some of the monotony of romances while still keeping a lot of romance at the center of the book and raising the stakes a little bit to make it more interesting!

You need to read Divine Rivals, right up your alley! It’s so good and the second one comes out next week. It’s marketed as fantasy but it’s more of a romance with magical elements. Easy to follow too!

my favorite trope (and actually what happened to me) is also friends to lovers, because i agree so much with you when it comes to already having a bond with someone, and then build something together with this. i've met my bf in 2012 and we've been best friends ever since, but just 2 years ago we started a romance and i believe this is the secret to make it last forever
