i don't get why people are weirded out by it, it's pretty common in Italy. Same as Tuna, Olives and plenty other toppings that people will scoff at, while they are normal over here.
I'm Italian and I know only one person from whom the only pizza is "margerita" (traditional one). Everyone else constantly change the toppings configuration and sometimes they all enjoy the french fries pizza
Very common in Italy, albeit usually it has Wurstels and it's called American Pizza you can find just fries on it, you could also just ask them to not put Wurstels.
I don't understand how Italians can complain about pineapple on pizza now that I know that they actually put fucking fries on it. Pineapple is actually at least a normal ingredient and it can be good when it's canned pineapple. It's bad when it's fresh pineapple. Fries on pizza sound absolutely disgusting.
No that's pretty authentic Italian. They put some weird stuff on pizza, everyone expects Italians to have good pizza but it was invented by an Italian immigrant in New York, not actually in Italy. This is one of the better sounding Italian pizza toppings.
Stop with this bullshit, pizza was invented in Italy. I don't know from where this misconception comes from but just stop, you just have to open wikipedia and check for yourself.
@@melonman6522 Yes, its way better to believe in urban legends heard who knows where. Wikipedia at least have sources that you can check, thats why I told you to do that...
