Jimi took every guitar player to levels unexplored. His influence is insurmountable.

Jimi was and still is the GOAT. I still after 56 years get up and jump around to this, the single greatest guitar piece for hard psychedelic rock ever. My arm hairs still stand up with the opening of this, my heart races and my mind is still blown by this, the greatest single rock explosion of genius on the guitar. I am 70, I have a heart condition and bad diabetic neuropathy and I still get up and move to this. Not slow either. Jimi is still the GOAT.

I saw Jimi Hendrix in one of his last concerts before he died. I was just a couple of rows from the stage. I feel so very blessed to have experienced that!!! He was amazing and I'm glad that you appreciate him so much. Great reaction! !

Jimi to me was on a huge musical experiment in his mind and through his hands, and we are the grateful beneficiaries. The best, and 53 years after his passing, he remains so.

Use to sit on the beach, headphones and many joints and smash Jimi. I was 18 then. 63 now and Jimi still makes modern music backwards.

This is the "(Slight Return)" that appears at the end of Electric Ladyland. This tune is AMAZING, but the full version of Voodoo Chile is 15 minutes long, and is a Blues powerhouse. Stevie Winwood on Organ and Jack Cassady on Bass (Mitch on Drums, of course). Needs to be heard to be believed.

Yeahhh- So powerful, so unique...Nothing like JH Voodoo Chile. Nothing like the left right force feild popping out of the speakers. It makes you take flights into another dimension where J must of spent alot of his time.

Live, Jimi could stretch this out to twenty minutes. He was so far out beyond his peers that music STILL hasn't caught up to him. A virtuoso and innovator without peer. The Coltrane of the electric guitar.

Jimi is incredible! I was dirtying diapers in the late 60s so I don't know what it was like when he came on the scene, but I've been listening to classic rock for decades, and I don't think there was anything like Jimi's skills and creativity on the electric guitar before him. His guitar must've sounded alien when people first heard it. And not many talk about his voice but I love it! He's got a great voice and it's a shame there's not a lot of live shows out there with good audio. The concert in Maui is brutal because it was outside, and because it's an island in the middle of the PACIFIC Ocean, it was windy as hell and they had to get creative with the mic to block the wind from interfering. Unfortunately, it blocks the human voice as well. Bummer but still worth checking out. Just wish there was more footage of this master. Great reaction, brother. Keep going. ARE YOU EXPERIENCED, audio version needs to go on your list. Strap in though✌🏼❤

All I have to say is I found out Jimi Hendrix was a fuckin Genius when I was 14 listening to 'underground radio', as it was called. There I discovered Led Zep, Black Sabbath, Janis and endless amazing artists. There seems to be nothing like it anymore. I'm so happy this is the music I grew up with. Jimi was a true breakthrough artist, opened the door to an entirely new era in music. He changed everything. Musician, poet, philanthropist, composer and free thinker, I'm certain. An historical music legend. RIP, Jimi ❤. ☮️to all.

Jimi. No one comes close. This was called Voodoo Chile (Slight Return). It’s the second part of this song. The first part Voodoo Chile about 14 minutes long can be found here on RU-vid. No one has reacted to it as far as I know. It’s magnificent.

I had the great pleasure of seeing Jimi Hendrix live 4 times. He was IMO the greatest and most exciting performer behind a guitar in the R&R/R&B era. However, be careful reacting to Jimi's songs. His family are a crew of vultures that will force RU-vid to demonetize you and your channel. Other bands to watch out for are The Beatles and Eagles. There are more. These blood suckers don't care that the music may get more airplay on Spotify or Tidal. They don't care that the music may be introduced to new audiences. They don't care about the few pennies (and I mean pennies) that you may make from the reaction. They only care about the few pennies they can't add to their millions. The estates for bands and performers such as Phil Collins, The BeeGees, and Journey are far more forgiving and understanding, and as a result their play on Spotify and their introduction to new audiences has risen. Estates such as Jimi Hendrix's will force you to take down the songs and RU-vid will give you a strike for every song played. If I were you, as great as he was, I'd stop playing Jimi, take the songs down now, avoid the bands I've mentioned, and research which bands are also social and musical vampires. You've been warned.
