For context, this song is about a soldier that died in ww2. He had a toxic relationship with his mother and she hated him even more when she found out that he was being drafted. In the bridge of the song, u hear him screaming “mama, mama, mama” as he dies on the battlefield, wishing to see his mother. Wishing that he had a better relationship w/ her.
