The reference to Tool is beautiful because Tool is Progressive Metal and that is like the most complex thing to play and write and Megadeth is one of the few thrash bands that come close to progressive song writing :) Love your reaction man !!!!
I’m sure you’ve probably been told this but Dave the lead singer, guitarist and founder of Megadeth was kicked out of Metallica. He was the guitarist before Kirk
This is one of the pinnacles of metal. Dave can bring the beats. His ability to play raw and polished goes unmatched. You really can't go wrong with any Megadeth but check out the song Rust in Peace....Polaris from the album Rust in Peace.
Bro found his band!!! React to "In My Darkest Hour" next! Don't do the music video cause they removed the song intro in the video. Also DON'T react to 2004 remixes/remasters of Megadeth songs, they kinda suck... Lyric videos are appreciated cause Megadeth got bars! By the way: any song you pick from the first 6 Megadeth albums is going to be a master piece.
I saw them in a 200 person capacity bar in Denver on this tour. Met Dave leaning against the wall in the back by the bathrooms, wearing that gray leather fringed jacket. Made my 16 year old day. Thanks for the reaction.
My first Megadeth show was 1985, Berkeley Ca. My buddy created the Vic Rattlehead mascot. Look on the Megadeth Demo tape from 1985. Glad to see you sweating to this..like you are in the pit. Metal4Life
Dave Mustaine (guitar + vocals) was only 25 yrs of age when he wrote and recorded this song and 2nd Megadeth album "Peace sells, but who's buyin'?" ... The depth of his talent was just incredible, despite his numerous addictions to drugs and alcohol at the time and his unpredictability in Megadeth's early years... This was the original band w/ David Ellefson (bass), Chris Poland (guitar) and (the late) Gar Samuelson (drums)... Both Poland and Samuelson were fired in 1987 after their drug habits were out of control (Poland was hawking the band's gear for drug money... Gar Samuelson died in 1999 from liver failure. Chris Poland later contributed guitar solos for 1 more Megadeth album 'The system has failed' in 2004 as a session musician.
@@sumonjamal1653 really young yes but by 25 you can easily already have 13 years of experience on your instrument and at least 7 years of experience for playing in a band.
@@Nightwalk444 What u don't seem to understand is that 25 is a really young age to have a gold selling iconic thrash metal record... and that is an major achievement that very few can make happen. There r boatloads of aspiring musicians who practiced playing instruments as kids & played in bands their whole lives and have had ZERO success.
We are seeing the creation of a TRUE metal fan. You are awesome! You'll have to check out some Dream Theater. I'd suggest Metropolis Part 1 from Images and Words.
I'm not sure why they reccomended that song. I would personally reccomend Symphony of Desturction, Peace Sells, and Sweating Bullets (music video is awesome for sweating bullets)
I was a kid when I first seen this video and it still gets me all pumped of the same way it did then. However I didn't know the lyrics for a long time and the song sounds super evil and when you realize it's about cheating. Such a wild ride for the topic at hand.
From their first album you can try Rattlehead - it's a banger song. Tomorrow is a day for their song 13 from the album Thirteen. If you want to try different band try some Carcass - for the start try Mount of Execution. Then you can go to Heartwork and Corporal Jigsore Quandary.
Never stop your megadeth journey... actually i wouldn't mind if you did only megadeth reactions till there is no more lol (Edit) my 2nd favorite band only behind the greatest and blackest of sabbath
Now if you want to listen to a Band that has a ton of time changes but pulls it off as easily as breathing air in the country at a camp site! Theocracy "I AM!" is an amazing song. This is an American Progressive Power Metal Band that does sing about God but they have been exploding on the scene anyway because they are just that good!!! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4EINCY25lZU.html
1 of their best tracks. Don't forget, after listening to Megadeth - Hangar 18, to listen to: Return to hangar ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0bsueUxoKsk.html
Thanks to you there's a 50 something drive around South Jersey with his windows down head banging what little hair he has left with a grin on his face from ear to ear 🤘🏼
i feel you man! i went to a Megadeth concert back in September and it was absolutely beautiful. i also got to ask Dave Mustaine (the lead singer with red hair) a few questions beforehand and you can instantly tell that he is a genius. please, listen to more of their songs, and your mind will be expanded! also i love the reactions, keep killing it man!
I agree it does take you on a journey and away from reality for a little while and to me it's very important to me to have music in my life as an escape from reality of everyday life
Off of this album, you need to listen to Mary Jane and Hook in Mouth! You will NOT be disappointed!! They have been my favorite band since I heard them for the first time 35 years ago and I feel that this is one of their Top 2 albums. While my favorite song on this album isn’t “RU-vid friendly”, the two I mentioned are two of the best.
I knew you would love this song. The Conjuring or My Last Words next. I’m glad you’re getting into Megadeth. No one else are like them. Loving the channel.
instead of being like the others and saying bad songs to listen to for money, i love your channel. You seem like a truly fun person to be around. Cheers from the North East of the USA. Keep being awesome! This album was very important because they blended the new wave of thrash, British invasion of heavy metal with some punk. It was different than Metallica, so it created something more aggressive, with bands like Exodus and Testament while California thrash blazed the scenes. This album was very important in the heavy metal movement.
This is a tad off topc, but Coheed and Cambria have a song called Neverender. I think it'd be a little funny for you to react to it. Y'know "Neverender reacts to Neverender."
@@theneverenderreacts Well that makes sense why you like metal. I was never into metal before I started listening to Coheed. Then I slowly got into Metallica, Megadeth, Testament, etc. I think they're a great bridge into the heavier side of music, even if coheed isn't all that heavy.
@@theneverenderreacts Yeah, I consider them to be the modern Rush. I love ascension and descension. But I'm definitely more partial to their earlier stuff, Second Stage, IKSSE3 and Good Apollo are some of my favorite albums of all time.
That whole album is a masterpiece, as well as many of their other albums. Rust in peace, peace sells, ashes in your mouth, youthanasia, and so far so good so what are their best albums and can’t go wrong with any of the songs on them. I would watch this channel all day if you strictly did Megadeth and Metallica lmao.
I have been a fan since Megadeth came out and this song is #1 or 2 for me all time by them. It is just the epitome of heavy metal/thrash. It has great solos, rhythm changes, a great riff and just a nice heavy beat. So good. A song you really can't not bang your head to.
i feel you man! i went to a Megadeth concert back in september and it was absolutely beautiful. i also got to ask Dave Mustaine (the lead singer with red hair) and you can instantly tell that he is a genius. please, listen to more of their songs, and your mind will be expanded! also i love the reactions, keep killing it man!
Peace sells is the first megadeth song that really got me into megadeth iseen then the video on headbangers ball and I absolutely love megadeth my favorite thrash band of all time hands down, love your reaction
