Nobody hates this song. The Slim Shady LP came out in 1999. I was about to turn 15. He spoke to an entire generation of black, white, Asian, latino, Hispanic, mixed, generation of 90s kids who were angry. He vocalized our anger. I’ve been loyal since then. I’m 38 and this song is one of my favorites. No one hates this song. It’s a good movie with a good marvel story, better than the previous versions and this song for the soundtrack tied in not only Eminem but also Venom’s marvel history. Don’t speak about things you don’t know anything about.

When he was young and angry, so was I, when he struggled with addiction so did I, when he became a parent, so was I and I still fuck with him just as heavy today. Plenty of people complained about the song to the point where it’s literally a joke that people think he’s just repeating “venom” over and over for the chorus when he isn’t.
