game 1 was one of those though were rapha stubbornly tries the same thing again although it didn't work, and it's not the first time this bit him. i don't get it, as usually he's so quick to adapt.
tbh it was more of Av3k making some very huge mistakes, like not hitting ghostwalk before Rapha fragged him, 2 times in a row on map 2. On map 3 Av3k just didn't hit some very important and relatively easy rails. GG's tho.
The world is still waiting for a game that awards the best fighter. The definition is clear, although all efforts are made to not see it. The one who aims with intent. There are already plenty of point and click games with geometry to hide behind, and resources to play Pacman with. This is the problem of Quake games. It's too much like the others. The solution is equally clear: don't verify POV misses, put more spawn points, and randomize resources +/- 2s so they have to be fought over and won. Make the better fighter win, if you want this game to be different from the others. Cheers.
