Rapid Bay - South Australia . This was on our list before heading off around Australia and couldn't wait to explore this area . The day we arrived it was 40 degrees and no wind . We have an epic 4 days here and I finally catch something from the sea .

Hiya...from Yankallila :). The 'old' jetty at Rapid was built for BHP ( for limestone quarrying) and eventually destroyed by a storm in 2004. The new jetty was built in 2009. Great for squid, tommy ruff, Snook and Gar.

Gee , quick transition from Vic to SA. Yeah, water cold, that's why the great white sharks hangout there. Lol, your getting lazy/unfit Derek. Well you know how to fix that, get up and about a bit more. Lol, take that dog for a run every morning. Who will puff out first.

the blow fly are as big as pigeons the toilet block is disgusting for such a beutafull place no power noisy generators there's a warning keep away from the cave. falling rocks many people have been injured nice to spend a few hours fishing😎😁😂🤣😃

Unfortunately rapid bay does not offer any of that nor a shop . There is a shop 5 min drive from rapid bay .

So the battery management system is a bmpro with 480 watts of solar on the roof and have 2 x itechworld 120 amp lithium batteries . Works super well ..

Thank you for the support . So we have two Jerry cans and just got a 150L water bladder which we use to fetch water by using the WikiCamps app to see where water is available
