I did an ultra rapid detox a year ago multiple times. Took my methadone take homes all at once (110 mgs each x 3) took a bunch of xanax and benadryl, stopped breathing and ambulance came and resuscitated me, fell into a small coma, they naltrexoned me three times, finally woke up 3 days later on a breathing machine with a catheter and loved ones crying. Does this count? This disease is terrible. The depression and anxiety that accompany it is deadly. Not seeing the light at end of the tunnel is dangerous. Clean from methadone and benzos for 3 months July 11th.

8 month clean now after 3 attempts and these videos helped me through every time. It got easier every time once you win the battle with your mind as to know what to expect and how to get through it and just accept what the next 5 days will be like. the next battle was dealing with the 2 month after that while you feel empty and missing that thing to crave and fillling that void. I am gutted that none of my stories got featured but I cant thank you enough for helping me get my life back, I can actually feel again, feel love, feel excitement, feel happy, feel sad. I actually cried watching a movie called PS I Love You and thats when I knew I had broken the back of the beast and was able to be the captain of my own ship again mapping out a future and a life for myself, my family and my new baby grand daughter. Thank you Ryan, words can't ever describe the gratitude I have for you for helping me and so many other people through the hardest thing they will ever face in life.

So sorry you’re gone but anyone out there reaches this I live in Michigan and I went to this place in Pontiac called ARD Advanced rapid detox, it was in a hospital. Top floor at Pontiac general, I slept for days when I woke up I was terribly groggy but most of my withdrawal I thought had subsided they did give me ketamine while I was there I don’t remember much of it but I remember it helping when I got out I then sought A ketamine clinic in Flint Michigan and oh my God it’s all I can say it was amazing not in the drug seeking way in the mentally and spiritually beneficial way I was able to, now this is rare I’ve been told but carry-on an entire cohesive conscious conversation with the doctor and it was like undergoing 10 years of therapy in an hour and I did this eight times very very expensive I mean at the sky wasn’t kidding when he said it’s like you have to hit the lottery eight grand for the rapid detox and five grand for the ketamine therapy I am now five months sober and zero relapse but I still feel the aches and pains from the withdrawal and mainly and I’m assuming this is the cause 13 years on methadone at 200 mg a day that’s going to take a while. But I feel like the ketamine was the biggest proponent of my healing God bless you and anyone Finding this please I know that there is no easy way out of addiction life is a struggle but so are all things that really matter anything worth having doesn’t come easily. I'm doing cold turkey again. I have had better luck on my own then in a detox or rehab. I just lost 3 months n it makes me so sad because I was so happy n felt so much better. I used an injury to relapse on a sub n went right back. I swore I couldn't do detox again but I don't have any other choice. I'm going to beat this.

It's awful. Think once you try a drug any drug and you like/love the way it makes you feel,you will always remeber that. Even if you get clean. Staying strong and finding something other than drugs to live for. God bless.

Vivitrol is a medication with naltrexone as its active substance. Naltrexone is an opioide antagonist, which means it blocks the opiod receptors in your body and brain. Naltrexone is a non selective substance, so it will block every opioid from reaching your receptors even endorphins produced by your body. This is why i dont recommend Naltrexone or Naloxone.(also a o. antagonist) You just need a working endorphin system in order to feel normal joy. I know people who took vivitrol over a long period of time and they all suffered from serious general deppresion until the stopped using the vivitrol. Most doctors know that there are issues with vivitrol and so they prescribe it for only some month, which in the beginning can be a great help for constant relapsers, but as soon as the stop taking they are on there own again. They just cant stand the cravings that will occur then and so many relapse just after quitting naltrexone therapy, which is extreme dangerous because of no opioid tolerance after that. So this whole Vivitrol thing is not the key, to stay clean, imo. I want to live a life without opioids but not without the joy of natural endorphin output. Also clean people need their daily amount of endorphins(opiates produced by the body) to stay happy. Just a thing you should never forget, even if you hate yourself for craving for opioids.

RIP Buddy, you encouraged me to get clean this year and unfortunately after 7 months I fell off the wagon for a couple of weeks. Now I'm in the process of quitting again and have everything I need (benzos, codeine, gabapentin) - just sorry you're not around any more. I went to a facility in Tampa and had ANR treatment for opioid addiction Feb 13th…I have not had the first craving since!! I was terribly WEAK for about 6-8 weeks…I am 59 so I think that’s why it took so long to recoup.

Ketamine resets the receptors? That’s a joke. Ketamine is used all the time in anesthesia settings. Rapid detox may work for some, but the “science” behind it is loose.

i was constantly drinking water with lemon. rhodiola in morning . bitter lemon and vitamin e with breakfast. ate every two hours at least. meals ranged from omlets with almond cheese and spinach to quinoa kale brown rice veggie burgers. vitamixed fresh organic fruits and veggies. the ingredients ranged but included kale spinach blueberrues beets ginger pineapple grapes mango bananas apples oranges. i added egg white protein at times and ate mostly organic. chicken and turkey bacon along with eggs were the main protein . i did flush out with aloe vera powder but in small doses. exercises included swimming, bike riding, tree climbing, calisthenics., walking, painting rooms, climbing ladders and lifting various size objects... i documented how i felt and what i accomplished each day as to remember the grind of withdrawal. i incorporated music and documented the artist and song to sustain positive mood. i talked to people about solid recovery plan and attended meetings. i gained 13 pounds back, and felt 80% by day 8. my results may or may not be typical as i am not a trained medical professional but was taken care of by two persons who are very well versed with foods and vitamins. i am in the process of documenting every meal and activity with times.

I’d love to do rapid detox . Been on suboxone for 7 years this time . First time , I was on it only 2 years . When I came off of it the first time in 2009 , I had the luxury of unlimited time off from work , making it easier . I don’t have that now . I miss not needing suboxone to function. I may try rapid detox . The thought of feeling like crap for a solid month by detoxing the normal way is too scary for me . Thank you for the video 😊

Three months clean from heroin

i traveled to my hometown in nj from ma 10 days ago and just went through a more homeopathic rapid detox. was blessed to have access to a room, vitamixer, vitamins, hot tub swimming pool and a regimend of physical labor. I did sliver subs for first 3 days then weaned off but i feel better than i have in over a year since i started. Also incorporated music to motivate and sustain positive moods. Hope to replicate the "treatment" one day for others in some capacity. This place in Michigan sounds legit and I am glad to hear there are good places out there. The insurance laws will change as time passes and would be cool to see everyone get the opportunity to get a more comfortable fresh start. Ryan , thanks for the videos. Truly helpful

I picked up again because I got really sick n thought using for a few days of be able to stop but I realize I have stay home n not leave my house n the good thing is these last weeks I've been asking god to help me stop and I broke my foot thank god so now I can detox deal with my broke foot. Which it should nuts but I literally am I happy I broke my foot because I can't leave my house now n drive so I'm stuck home at my dad's house n I'll be taking iburprofen, no subs because I'm only 3 weeks in and was only using a little. I have clonidine n trazodone to sleep and of course a lot of benadryl for my runny nose and probably muscinx

Hello my name is Lindsey and I have also experienced rapid drug detox. I went to a facility in Troy Michigan back in 2018. I want to get off of 12 mg of Suboxone. I wish I could say I had a similar experience. My struggles afterwards were severe. I was in the hospital for severe paralyzing depression. I do believe everyone will ultimately have a different experience. I have fought for almost 6 years now to regain my brain and become more stabilized. I will say I have remained clean and I am grateful for that.

I went to rdd and had that done. It was great. U still kick balls but the withdrawal goes by way faster and they give you lots of meds to sleep and stuff. It was like 10 grand. Its in Michigan

Ive done the rapid detox 12 times out in Detroit. Well Troy, Michigan just outside Detroit. Its a place called RDD. The only way ot works is of ur truly ready to get off the shit. Cuz once the naltrexone wears off u czn go right back at shit of u dont have a system in place to stay off the stuff. Ive been out there and done the procedure 12 times and it is just as fuckin horrible as cold turkey detox. It just seems its draghed out longer doin the rapid way then doin cold turkey.

My doctor COLD TURKEY ME! AFTER 17 YEARS! Gave me clonidine which helps but im in a hell! I have had numerous car accodents, my back and neck are bad messed up! He got mad at me on my last visit because one of his staff and I had a few words( not ugly mind you, im a super non confrontational person).. I just lost my job yesterday because I made a $6 mistakeand they know im detoxing! I am glad I can feel again, absolute truth, however the pain in my neck and back is beyond sickening. Had xrays yestrrday since Mr. Pain mgt doc threw pills at me the whole time. They said Im in bad shape. I have 3 herniated disc and will find out soon whats wrong with my low back area. Honestly, if there is something I can take that will take this pain aay without it being opiate im down! Im allergic to anti-inflammatory so half the battle there. I would even go low dose perc with clonidine..so my brain wont crave all day. Is that even possible? I know it helped pain, but I was so sick of feeling zombie-fied!
