There are many car Pooling apps available at Play Stores!The Car and Bike Pooling is like Simply offering Lift with Certain Commission! With this concept you don't need to get Yellow Number Plate!Rapido just introduced that system in bike So that's why it got permit all over India cause it's like Simply offering Lift to person!
To my knowledge Rapido is good compare to guilty auto wala, just from x cut road to Thiruvalluvar bus stand I used auto due to luggage and they charged me 150….however in cities like coimbatore and bangalore Rapido is good only bcoz of cheap rated auto guys .

Once I came to Chennai for a Funeral. i reached Tambaram railway station at 7 am and I was trying to book Ola auto or taxi which the drivers were cancelling the ride every time. After 2 hours, at 9 am I booked and travelled in rapido and reached the destination. really rapido is only actively helpful plus budget friendly. i paid only 160 for bike taxi whereas the auto outside the station were asking me 800 rs.
Guru, Bike taxi service has been available in India since 1990, I have used it in Goa, but they are legal. These bikes are registered as commercial vehicles (yellow board). But I don't understand how RTO's permits own-use bikes to operate as bike taxis. Do commercial vehicles like Auto-riskshaw and Car-taxis registered as yellow board and pay huge taxes for government to permit and insurance looks like fools to them. I am a truck driver, drive 16lakhs kilometers on road till date, Police & RTO's most corrupted department in India. Save Driver's & theirs dignity. They are the backbone of Indian Economy after Farmer's.
Bike taxi is very very useful. Immediate pick up at less price. We can reach in short time. I did not see any cancellation by bike drivers, like auto drivers. College students can also earn part time money. Beneficial for both driver and public.

நான் bike taxi ஓட்டுறேன். 100 ரூபாய் bill amount வந்தா, 30+ ரூபாய் Rapido கம்பெனி பிடிச்சுக்குறான்..... அதாவது 30%+..... ஒரு App வெச்சுகிட்டு கோடி கணக்குல சம்பாதிக்கிறானங்க.... Bike taxi ஓட்டுறவங்க, 500 ரூபாய் லாபம் சம்பாதிக்கணும்னா, 7, 8 மணி நேரம் bike ஓட்டினா தான் முடியும். அநியாயம் பண்ணுறானுங்க, Rapido, Ola எல்லாரும். இதை யாரும் கேட்குறதே இல்லை.
You can't use a white board two wheeler as taxi . Taxi is a yellow board vehicle which they pay yearly tax and higher insurance And the driver should hold a badge for driving . But in rapido they use white board which is meant only for personal use So this purely violation of moto vehicle act. In Goa we have bike taxi but it is authorised by the RTO

I think rapido is for the good than bad side . It's useful . Anyways government will not allow which is affordable for normal humans they want us to be poor and work for them to achieve a premium lifestyle
