Which fish species are you referring to? Are you familiar with the fish species of New Zealand central North Island rivers and any possible effects that a jet boat has on them?

It's a tourist operation run by a professional company, they have procedures in place to ensure the section of river they use for the jetboat tour is clear when they are running a tour, just as the case would be for any similar operation anywhere else in the modern world.

Me and friends used to ride our jet skis up and down that river awesome fun you could get some big air or that white water which is called the Fulljames Rapids

I've been on these many times. No one is coming the other way. Each operator has his own stretch of river. Safety always comes first.

I wonder if the environmental agencies assessed the short and long term impact of this activity on the river's ecosystem. It must be a huge disturbance, affecting wildlife above and under the water. And it seems not compatible with any other recreational use of the river.

You feeling sorry for me is totally about your strange way of thinking and nothing to do with me, as is your misguided opinion that boating there is "stupidity" and "insane" I grew up just north of where this video was taken and I love the nature and beauty of New Zealand, as do pretty much all New Zealanders, including no doubt the operators of this Jetboat tour, the boat is only permitted to use a relatively small section of the river which is suitable and safe for a boat to use and only at certain times, New Zealand has some of the strictest regulations in the world when it comes to the human impacts on nature.
