What I love is the way he doesn't have that generic "look at my diamonds and cars because I'm rich now and I can't stop bragging" vibe about him. Dude's humble and relatable and entertaining asf imo
maybe.. but interviewers need to ask questions as if learning about it.. Helps the artist hit those topic bullet points.. Segways to answering a question vs just talking about themselves...... Alot of people get deterred when people bring up topics/points themselves vs answering anothers question. Gives some people a forced narrative impression, like getting played with a rehearsed image. Like evensteven trying to create a new character.
Prof is an incredible performer. Wish I found him 10yrs ago, but then again i dont bc i also feel like prof found himself throughout the years. It might not have been as good if he blew up right away. Either way glad i know him now and can rotate all the albums as a fan today.
Interviewer is setting him up to talk... Setting him up to make particular points that they wanna discuss thats important to Prof, direction or describing who he is.... Best way is to ask as if you dont know..... Pretty sure thats joe rogan 101

I love the registering expression on Prof's face when he tried to say how big the Halibut was and kept changing the size...... Literally watch the joke click into his brain and he felt compelled to have to say it....... Half just to point out what he just did and mock himself for it. Love it when you see people that Are self aware.. but cant always control it.

The Talent in this man makes him one of the best at his craft. No fake hard. No image over music. We love the dude. Prof is in our ears at least once a day.
1.. Interview was fine... Prof was relaxed, can see him hold back afew more dadjokes.... The lack of laughing at Prof's jokes you can tell is intentional. 1, it godes guest to try more.. 2, laughing at a wrong jokes can devastate a career. Good interviewers do trained acknowledgements basically 'i see what you did there'... One arm fishing joke, ehhhhh laughing is a luxury some cant afford. . 2. Prof fans should be making his fans look good.. Not trolly af. Dude interviews some nice guests.... Its a opportunity for more mainstream exposure for him in a way thats not conflicting with staying modest or underground. How often you see Rhymsayer artists in the postion or doing interview sitdowns aside from low budget or small publications? why make the guy regret it? . Should be giving props that interviewer/crew had good enough taste to interview Prof and they hit various bullet points to expose the whole label. BTW.. you realize interviewers... ASK.. QUESTIONS... not talk for them.. So its not about him not knowing about Prof regardless if.. . call me karen but youre hurting everyones career involved if your only intent is to mock and ridicule.
That one-armed man joke was so dumb, I had to laugh. It went past being so not funny that when he raised his arm, my brain thought there would be more and the fact that the joke was done just had me rolling. Love at the end that he was given a chance to promote a website and, after making a joke, said, “Just Google Prof.”. Good man.
Maybe its just because I grew up poor and still am, but I think the biggest pleasure of making money is giving it away. There is enough resources in our country for every person to live a beautiful loving life. Jeff Bezo's having 150 Billion dollars ...seriously?....I don't know why my love of Prof has taken me on this tangent lol. We can all agree that one of our undeniable purposes on this world is love.
