Freddie and band did an impromptu section in this concert that is fantastic - you can find it by searching for Queen Wembley Impromptu. It is awesome !!

Love Of My Life is probably one of my favorite songs by Queen. This performance from Wembley is awesome but you should check out the version of this song from Rock In Rio in '85. It's mostly the audience who doesn't speak English as a first language singing the song to the band. But this version from Wembley holds a special place in my heart because of Freddie's voice, Brian on guitar, and the crowd. Simply perfect.

If you want to see this crowd involved, react to Queen at the Live Aid concert. This performance was an impromptu one, near the end of the concert, while the performers were taking a break.

“He creates an intimacy with the crowd” Yup, with all 75,000 of them. Queen learned early on that playing live was a shared experience with the audience. They put a lot of effort into putting on their shows, yet Freddie was very spontaneous.

Great input…an early Queen song that showcases all the guys is Liar at the Rainbow, John maybe gets a little more attention, but it shows the true showmen they were.

Freddie loved an impromptu with the audience, the group were always inclusive with the fans, they invited them to take part in the music videos, right from the very early days. Everyone thought it was written about Freddie girlfriend Mary Austin, however they now think it was actually from Mary point of view, as they stayed friends throughout his life

Freddie was a man of the people and he invited us all to go along with him on his musical journey. We are all better to have tagged along. Queen is legend.

HI SEAN, I just wanted to say how very much I'm enjoying the reactions you've been doing for these Queen/Freddie performances... I always appreciate the perspective of a singer or musician who understands/can point out things that a run-of-the-mill fangirl like myself wouldn't pick up on! This song was midway thru the concert, in conjunction with another acoustic ballad "Is This The World We Created?"... a chance to "catch their breath" before rocking out some more! (The Wembley concerts (there are two of them, consecutive nights) are sooo long; just watching them through in-one-go tires me out! ;D )

This is a great performance. You should also do a "double header" of this song. The 1st one Queen at Rio '85 (Freddie doesn't sing a note of the 1st verse, he just directed the crowd of 350,000 - that doesn't speak English - like a choir conductor). The 2nd Queen + Adam Lambert Rio 2015 (which is just Brian & the audience - although Freddie does make a cameo 😀). The performances are 30 years apart, but both powerful.

I really like your take on Queen and Freddie's great vocals. Not only did he have a real connection to every individual in the audience, but he wanted to always inject a little fun into his performances...he was a master of physical humor, fooling around either with the audience of the rest of the band.

Afternoon Sean. Just wanted to say, thank you for all the great work you do & put out for people. Not only do you put out some really good songs (although I will always be a metal-head first & foremost), but you spread a great message & help people feel a Feth load better. Secondly, may I put in a request for you doing a reaction to, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Free bird, live in Oakland '77 (for the best live version of the song. But not much seen of the band), or the same band & song at Knebworth festival in '76. That is the best live performance as they are the opening act for the Rolling Stones. Not only did they totally out perform them, but they did it on 'THE TONGUE'. The part of the stage everyone is told never to touch as it is Mick Jaggers area. Both are very worth checking out. Oakland for music, Knebworth for the act. Thanks again & hope yourself & everyone in your life is having a great day
