The thing I loved about God’s menu is that Stray Kids wanted it to be an experiment on a chaotic concept and not stick to a single theme and be all over the place. There, they found their niche, their identity in the industry. Organized chaos. So whoever is working on the MVs, the possibilities are endless for them. Imagine the story board meeting. “Alright. Throw everything in there”

The guy who directed this MV also directed God’s Menu, as well as their songs Back Door, All In, and Thunderous. My favourite KPOP group is NCT (they are mostly split up into their subunits because they have 23 members at the moment!!). They’re in the same company as EXO. Anyway, the MANIAC director is called Bang Jae-Yeob, and he’s directed two NCT songs. One is by the subunit NCT 127 and is their Japanese song “Gimme Gimme”. The other is by the subunit WayV (say wavy) and is a b-side called “Dream Launch”. He’s also directed “Breath” and “Last Piece” by GOT7, and “In The Morning by the girl group ITZY.

Their second music video from this album dropped today, Venom is the English title, but the Korean title translates to spider web. More rapping in that one. But if you really want rap, their song Muddy Water from this album is one of the most different, original raps that I’ve ever heard.
