@@ithilnin123if she wrote her part in this why has she never had a good song after adam and church kicked her to the curb? Ohhhh because they were writing her stuff! Now she is just taking L's all day
Yeah, Church and Adam are boys - you should check out their collab track "Die Tonight" - and Katie has a lot of great tracks on youtube as well (including a couple of collabs with Upchurch)
His name is B Luce. Does all Upchurchs vids. Lucevision, that's his symbol with the pyramid and eye. He just recently got the RED Camera and a shit ton of lenses and actually moved out to California to take some film classes. He comes in periodically to work with Church and others. Cool channel, New sub. Check out Rap Sh!t by Adam, and also War. And Upchurch has a couple new vids, Ghost Ranch (amazing) and So Brooklyn Remix. Sorry so long. RHEC-CREEKSQUAD-4LIFE
Keep bringing these reactions from Upchurch, NF, Joyner, Adam Calhoun, etc. You're the best at breaking these down. I watch reaction videos daily and you're my new go-to! Cheers!
i've watched every reaction to this ( and all katie and adams videos) but bro, you're the only 1 that caught ALL the bars and explained them. you need to do more reactions. im deff a new sub!
I just discovered you today and I know that you probably mainly consider yourself a rapper of course, but please don’t stop reacting. You have a gift. In one day you’ve gone from “who is that” to top 4 reactor in my eyes. The best compliment I can give you is that you can react to a song and video I’ve seen 50 times and I always walk away learning something and fresh insight. And your approach is so all encompassing- lyrics, instrumentation, rhyme and poetic patterns, video, etc and showing how it all blends together. I am very impressed. And if you want to mix other artists in here’s a couple suggestions- Chris Webby, Joyner Lucas, Token, Royce da 5’9”, Hopsin, Kendrick Lamar, Lupe Fiasco, and Yelawolf.
Out of all the reactors you break down these songs the most and make us normal people understand the lyrics more. Thanks for all you do and keep it up bro
Roll Me Up, Same Asshole, The Hate Goes On, Addiction Kills, We Got Nex...anything with Jelly and Lil Wyte... Ya know..just a good place to start....lmao
Very good Knox. You really know your stuff. You catch things and then you figure out what they are doing and can call what you think will be coming up next. I just know it is a great song for so many reasons and you covered those reasons, but then you show how much more thought is even in the song than I realized since I am not in the industry. Once again great job. Can't wait for your breakdown of Rap SHXT. Thanks for sharing and cheers.
I've heard this more than 20 times and always really enjoyed it. But you made me love it, pointing out some things I can't believe I overlooked, thanks.
I absolutely love the country rap and I love this song ❤️ I also adore Ryan upchurch and I seen that you have reviewed some of his but I have to say I love the look on your face when ol girl busted loose. I have seen a lot of people's reaction videos but I have to say I like yours because well with your expressions the way you break down fire lines to where people can understand them if they don't already know what it means. My 16 year old son Jimmy loves your reaction videos which is how I found you. He has autism and the way you break things down helps him better understand his favorite songs. Also explains some songs that may not be his favorites but helps him be on the same page as the kids his age. thank you for being you!🤟
Wow, don’t even know what to say to that. Thank you for supporting and thank Jimmy as well for me! I never would’ve thought when I started this series that my reaction videos would be as popular as they are, or affect people in such a way. Humbled by all of this. Stayed blessed 🤙
I think I saw somewhere that Katie actually wrote the hook on this song too. You should check out her old town road rock remix, she played a guitar for that one and shreds on that a bit too, super talented.
I really like this guy, Knox Hill, and how he reviews Adam's videos. Not all of us know why we like something we hear, so thank you [Knox] for giving us a thing or two to think about while bobbing our heads :-)
"You get killed like abortion." This is hyperbolic, in a battle rap context, meaning I will destroy you before you even begin. He is masterful and intentional in using a subject that appeals to emotion in making his point. Every one of his points is twofold, and often, juxtapositions are prevalent.
Love this track - and you're right about Adam's producer, it's the same dude Church uses. Church actually brought Adam into this game and really helped him get started. And Katie? Oh lord, I love that girl and she's a badass.
Hey, Knox Hill!! Since you're getting into the whole country rap/hick hop genre of music, I highly suggest you listen to a song by a band called the "Jawga Boyz" and the song I want you to react to is called "Plastic bottle", and "Chillin in the backwoods".
I have never seen a reaction that did so well explaining...music. Just everything involved in a song and to a degree, a whole genre. Like I’m fucked up that you legit knew exactly what people would be drawn to, you knew why, and could explain it in a way that nonmusicians can understand. I just subbed to you..this is the first video of yours I watched and I think I hit subscribe before 2 minutes had passed...but I’ll be honest, I kinda got an issue with you cuz you just made me learn some shit and I didn’t come here to learn. But I’m also kinda mad at myself because I’m not really that mad about learning shit from you. Either way, I’m gonna stick around. And I hope Adam Calhoun or Upchurch see you react to their music. They’re humble ass dudes, so you’ll know if they do watch cuz they’ll be in the comments. Edit: I just saw that church already subbed to you and commented on your reaction to his song.
You need to check out Jelly roll and Struggle Jennings...they are the grandfathers of country rap. There best song together is fall in the fall but they have so many great songs to choose from together and separately. But if you are enjoying unground hip hop you will truly fall in love with them and never look back especially to mainstream music.
Gotta listen to Country, by Adam Calhoun featuring Ryan Upchurch and Demon Jones, that ones a good one. Or Ryan Upchurch's remix of his song Traveler with Struggle and Tom Macdonald, it is awesome!
