I think you've really over-reduced their music to one aspect of what you think they're singing about. Not every song is about relationships or love--some of them are a lot more about self. I think you've bent some of the songs, like Boombayah, to try to fit the narrative you've decided on. BP and all women are more than their relationships, and not every song that mentions them is ABOUT them. And DDU-DU DDU-DU is just.....not about about in a relationship...like...at all.

It also ties in with the shattered statue of Aphrodite. There're a lot of Greek mythology nods in this video, like swans behind Jennie, Zeus often took the form of a swan to seduce women and leave them broken hearted. Ego/Narcissus on Rosé's car... Just wanted to say how much I appreciate your breakdowns! You're really perceptive, noticing all kinds of details in the visuals and the production and their vocals that even huge fans don't notice. But I think the best part is how seriously you take them. You never objectify or sexualize them, or talk about how hot they look unless it's in the context of their art, and that's SO cool. In Rose scene I believe it was a nod to Yung 'I, Ego, Super Ego' trifecta. Because Rose on the road is in distress (I), she is not in control, and then Rose behind the wheel appears to be in control, she is focused and committed (Super Ego). I think Jisoo shot herself with the arrow as she sang "I can't stand myself being so weak". So it's kind of like a stronger version of herself emerged that killed off the weak one. You should check Big Bang's song 'Bang Bang Bang'. Fyi, Big Bang is the one who make Lisa took her audition in YG Entertainment (Blackpink's Label) because she knew that Big Bang was also there. And, Rosé called Big Bang's Taeyang as her inspirator to become a good singer. And Jennie told that Big Bang's G-Dragon is the one who taught her how to do live performance, how to sing well, etc. And also Jisoo said that Big Bang's G-Dragon is the senior she wanted to meet the most (Sorry about my english)

I have listened to Blackpink's songs so many times and I haven't even think about these lyrics the way that you think about it. It's amazing to hear some new stuff, someone's other perspective. The guy who produced their music is Teddy, and he himself was also a hip-hop singer like 20 years ago. He produced another k-pop sensation 2NE1 as well at YG entertainment, and I highly recommend you I AM THE BEST from 2NE1. Even Emma Stone talked about them in the show! You will never regret :p

Jisoo's voice is one of the best I've heard in my life. Her cover performance of 'Yuki no Hana' at Osaka is truly mesmerizing and serenading. The only person to silence an entire stadium with her voice. She looked like an angel❤️

I've seen several review videos. Yet Knox Hill seems to be the most committed and professional. Decomposing rhymes, tones, arts and production in whole. I'd love to see you review 대취타(Daechita) by AugustD, a member of BTS. It's inspired by traditional Korean king's parade song Daechita. There are unique instruments and tunes of Korea and M/V is also very well made. The lyrics are pretty much all written Korean, so might not be easy. But I can insure you that it would be worth watching. p.s. Jisoo sounds Ji like alphabet G and soo like soothing, soo.

This is the first time Knox actually doesnt look at Rose with a playful and loving doting look, but instead as with a more heavy serious song, he looked so genuinely heartbroken that his sweet heart was filmed with tears streaming down her face. I could sense he was saddened, angry, frustrated, and just wanted to take away her pain. The whole scene even caught him a little by surprise I bet, because he was a little late in his analysis delivery, as he was more caught up in the emotion still, albeit, just a hypothetical mv scene. Man Knox, I called you cringe and fake when I saw your first video, KDA, but now im on a binge with this being the 7th almost, and you really do have a certain personality to you. A soul, a tint, hue and shade. Maybe that initial guy I saw was something developed in the rapper community that I dont understand, but you blow my mind now. and I love watching your vids.
