You way over think every bar lol, ed has never been gay, he was referring to how much time him and jamal spent together from the day they met, ed and jamal basically started each other's career ed used jamals platform sbtv to put out a video which went absolutely viral, jamal was responsible for so many UK artists making it to the top, I'd almost go as far as saying without jamal you wouldn't have a channel reacting to English rap videos

Firstly, I’m sure artists like Ren and Stormsy would still pick up the pen in one way or another if Jamal wasn’t around, but his contribution is an obvious W. Second, I was hypothetically discussing what the gay line could mean in either context; even if I didn’t specify I was aware it could have just been metaphorical to their closeness.

@@RoarTheRapper sorry brother yeah he just ment they was that close people thought it was more than that. Yeah they would of picked up a pen they just wouldn't of had the platform to showcase their talent without a big record label signing them and promoting Jamal opened up a place for people to see these unknown artist, before jamal there was no behind bars no link up TV no fire in the booth, before jamal we was listening to people on pirate radio, lol. It's actually mad how much of a difference he made in the scene. The uk was a long way behind you guys not because we didn't have talent but it was just going unheard
