League of Legends has 4 bands composed of champions (characters) that you can play as in the game. The first band they made was Pentakill which is a heavy metal band. The second one was K/DA which is a female K-pop group and became very popular world wide even with non-League players. The third band was True Damage which is a hip hop group. One of the members from K/DA, Akali, is also in True Damage. And now we have Heartsteel which is the 4th and newest band in League of Legends, a boy band which seems to be a mix of pop and hip hop. Fun fact, Heartsteel was born because of years of fan demands for there to be a League of Legends boyband after the success of K/DA. There have been many occasions where people would speculate which League of Legends champions would be in a boyband and some of the most popular choices were Kayn, Sett, Aphelios, Ezreal, and Yone. The only one I have never really seen anyone mention was K'Sante, but that's probably because the fan discussions for a League boyband existed long before K'Sante was released in the game.
Kayn - Cal Scruby, Exreal - BAEKHYUN, Sett - ØZI, K'Sante - tobi lou (the drop with Aphelios in water is him singing), Aphelios is lyricist and songwriter (something like that), Yone - producer. Heartsteel is part of a separate 'universe' from main lore so basically alternative universe versions of champions. I'm pretty sure but not completely that all Riot bands are part of the same alternate universe.
Aphelios is mute. Ksante sings that part with him in the water. It's why in the promotional teaser stuff with the discord call they say hey Aphelios is typing, its because he doesn't speak.
@@DustyHams not much of a boy band when his sister is singing in it though also Aphelios and Yone are the composer and producer so they aren't in the vocals.
@@DustyHams Last time I checked, Alune is the manager of the group in the lore of Heartsteel. And like one of the replies said, wouldn’t really be a boy band if there’s a girl singer, even for a small moment.
It the same as with KDA. These are characters you play in game. But they gave them new skins and the song is promo basically. But that doesn't stop Riot from COOKING EVERY TIME
the thing with yone, is that he's basically doing the same kind of position as his brother yasuo, in true damage yasuo is the dj, so yone is kinda doing the same thing here in heartsteel
I wish they put some interactions in game between them with those skins "Did I inspire you to become a dj, Yone?" or "Now I am also a music producer Yasuo"

Yes, every one of them is a champion in League of Legends but they dont look like that in game in their normal skins. They are in their skins named "Heartsteel" that will come on 8 november (propably). It is new band and champs are Kayn, K'Sante, Aphelios, Sett, Yone and Ezreal. The song and band was created specially for lol championship 2023 like God feat New jeans. Hope that helped
Kayn(or rhaast as his stage name is called lore wise, which is also his darkin form(basically his evil form), hence why his voice is so deep and lines are so grim) - Cal Scruby - First verse Ezreal - Baekhyun - Chorus Sett - Ozi - 2nd rap verse K'sante - Tobi lou - soul/rnb lyrical verse - does backup on the chorus as well Yone - Unknown to me - DJ/Producer Aphelios/Alune - Also unknown to me - Songwriter/Manager Yone and Aphelios dont sing they are the DJ/Producer and songwriter/manager. Aphelios' sister(in lore/game named Alune) is the Manager and aphelios(who is mute) does the songwriting, yone is the producer and is also seen to be the DJ which is why in his little snippet hes on a mix kit while the beat starts to shift away from tobi lous verse(the underwater verse), into the 3rd and final chorus. Also another fun part is that Yones brother, Yasuo, is the DJ for true damage and has been the DJ for some of KDAs songs lorewise as well, which is cool to me that they added those two in as almost rivals.
So the characters in the mv are Ezreal (Green hair and yellow glasses) Kayn (Guy who started off the song) K'Sante (The one with the cool beard) Sett (The tough guy in the ring) Yone (The one that puts on the kitsune mask) Aphelios (Guy who fell in the water)
The characters in this are non-canon adaptations of league of legends characters. Kayne/Rhast, Ezreal, Aphelios, Yone, K'Sante and Sett. They drum up hype moatly to sell in-game skins for the characters. They usually come with some custom voice lines/sounds/animations.

They always use characters from the game for these videos. Essentially, all these sorts of music videos and such are ads 😂 They make skins for alternative styles to play the character as, and then put them into these videos and groups.

@@lordofwhip I mean... Jaira Burns had only second voices but some lines from Miyeon(Ahri) were given to Risu (Playing Kaisa/Jaira Burns). So Tempus could divide the 5 song parts(Counting tobi lou's rap and bridge parts as 2 here) into 6 as easily.
