considering some have really cute voices, quiet ones and 1 of them has a absolute cannon of a voice it's quite incredible how well they mesh together

11:55 "Never ever, have I ever been a sinner, been a dreamer" --> I think this line means "never ever have I ever amounted to something". Never done anything wrong, but at the same time never thought of doing anything worthwhile. Although the song talks about rebelling against convention in order to achieve one's dreams, it also challenges us to rebel against our own self-imposed limitations. It's a neat contrast to everything that came before it since the message isn't about anarchy, it's about self-actualization.

Let's be real here. Nerissa is the 'singer' vtuber in their group for a reason. With the amount of time she spent on developing her skills, it's just deserved to get all the praises and making the other talents looked especially outclassed. Fuwamoco also did a great job with their singing, you can easily tell they sing a lot. In Shiori and Bijou's side, I think they sing but not really this type of song. I think Bijou singing more softly is just a way to blend her own talents without ruining the flow of others. I think Shiori is also the same way, she has a very soothing sassy voice but not really the type of song for her to blend that in here because this song sounds really determined and 'rebelling'. Anyways all of them did a really great job, Nerissa would be the elephant in the room without the other 4 balancing each other while giving a stage for Nerissa's talent which made this quite the great song.

Speaking of Land of the Lustrious(Kouseki no Kuni), Koseki Bijou did a cover of the OP you should check it out

Everyone exept for Shiori Novella have their own songs, the twins, Koseki and Nerissa all have a cover and the twins gave a tiny sample of an original song similar to what Mumei did when she debuted. If i had to give my impression on what i heard so far, Nerissa Ravencroft have a more bassy voice like you said and she really popped off in this song, Koseki Bijou (The gem) has a really soft voice and based on her cover she could easily pull emotional stuff like Bae, for the twins, Fuwawa (the one with the long hairs) has a softer voice and Mococo (the one with shorter hairs) has more spunk. In rebellion the voices aren't color coded but the visuals highlight the one who sings.

Lmao I totally feel you with Nerissa popping off in the choruses, she really stood out! Everyone as a whole killed it!

My analysis of the song is that Nerissa(bird lady) was supposed to be like the main punch to the song, she was meant to like carry the song because throughout the song the others built her up and they had a lot of good syncronization. Bijou(rock lady) would cover the long wistful parts that give the emotion of wanting more and hope for the future, Fuwawa and Mococo are the presenters of sort of how it is now and what sort of involvement they want you to have, join them in stepping out of this place they've been in, and Shiori is sort of adaptable glue, she bridges between Bijou and the twins and gives them all a sort of togetherness which builds up Nerissa who lifts the whole song up and really grabs your attention. Nerissa is also the one given the japanese lyrics and the long vocal at the end, she is meant to be the one on top and the others are supposed to lift her up.

A lot more catchy than I thought after first listen. A lot of the spotlight went to Nerissa and she definitely did it justice. Shiori who hasn't released any music on her channel yet actually stood out after Nerissa for me. Her "Fire, fire, light the fire. Brighter, higher, as you desire" kind of gives me earworm. I think it's the accent/tone maybe?

In my experience when it comes to identical twins, one always seems to have either a higher/lower than the other. I have friends who are twins and one definitely has a little bit higher of a natural speaking voice than the other, and it doesn't surprise me if that's the case even with singing with the twins.

Nerissa is the strongest singer, followed up by Biboo, then Fuwawa, then Mococo, then at the weakest its Shiorin. They're all quite enjoyable, but its a simple fact of their pre-debut experience. Also... don't read if you don't want forbidden lore. . . . . . . Nerissa's past life is who effectively invented Western City Pop.

Regarding the color coding lyrics - unfortunately, Advent doesn't have very strong color identities. Everyone has Black/White as their primary colors (>50% of the designs), which goes a long way to make them feel like a coherent unit, but they each have a single highlight color, which tend to overlap and blend together a lot. The twins Fuwawa and Mococo are light blue and pink, respectively. Bijou (gem girl) is pink bleeding into magenta, which gets very close to Mococo's pink. Nerissa (raven girl) is a medium blue, which is a bit too close to Fuwawa's light blue. And Shiori (book girl) is just black and white (which is in everyone else's costumes) with no highlight color (unless you count her strikingly yellow eyes, but I wouldn't call her character color "yellow"). There's no strong contrast in the group - no greens/oranges/yellows/reds/browns, just two pinks and two blues.

A curious fact about our lovable rock lady is that she's also a big fan of houseki no kuni(land of the lustrous) as well! Her first solo song after debutting was houseki no kuni's anime op and she has talked about about how she loves the story too.

I'm already looking forward to their live performances to see how much they're gonna improve till then. I love this song. But I also love Rise from Council and was blown away by how much everyone improved when they performed it at the EN concert.

The Twins put out a cover of a song and showed an original song from them as a teaser on there debut, You know Nerissa's one now, Koseki did a cover also on her channel, Waiting for Shiori whenever she wants to do one, She is my favourite for reasons i can't say but her voice if you know you know so cute

Sorry one more thing, The girls did say that Nerissa did all the higher pitched parts cause i think the others wanted to do easier parts in the song, Guess they just not ready for that just yet but i get what you are saying Nerissa just stands out so much but she is the only one with that deep voice in her branch while the rest have higher voices, But Shiori's voice i will always love it lol

They performed a live karaoke of this at the end of their first off-collab, and it was far from a perfect performance, but I think it shows how much potential this track has as a live song. Fuwamoco really carry the call and response parts live, and it's just a lot more hype, and Narissa kills it. Fuwamoco's live energy just elevates everything they do.

I really like this song and I really like the Advent girls. I do, however, think this is a bad DEBUT group song as it doesn't do a good job of setting each member apart. A lot of the vocals are heavily affected or doubled, which makes things either same-soundy or hard to tell apart sometimes. Compare this to a song like "Non-Fiction" (not a debut song, I know) which greatly differentiates each member distinctly and highlights their personalities and strengths perfectly. "Rebellion" is a banger, but it doesn't do much to define the personalities and relationships of the genmates.

Im concerned about some plagarism in this song. The "Fire Fire" motif sounds oddly similar to the Vocaloid song "Wildfire" by Circrush.
