So Ayame is the head/body. I always pictured Choco as the head/body, Ayame and Aqua as the arms, and Shion and Subaru as the legs. lol

When I was a kid, I used to hate stuff for no reason. I just didn’t wanna be bothered to learn anything new. But as an adult I feel like it’s irresponsible to just assume some thing about a group of people especially, and then even worse, spread your hateful opinion online to a lot of people who might not know anything about these characters because of your ignorance. That type of stuff really bothers me, even though I guess it’s unprofessional to be affected by opinions.

There is this stereotypical perception, among normies especially, that people ABSOLUTELY MUST *’ACT THEIR AGE’* and have nothing in their heads but money, work, cars, barbells, girls and some pointless mature vice like weed, alcohol, gambling or something that has little to no substance and depth - and anything that does not conform to that societal narrative of ‘one of us, slaving away at life for those in charge like the rest of us, pursuing superficial goals like the rest of us, wasting away at mindless entertainment like the rest of us’ should have those interests and those people be shunned, hated or otherwise ostracized in any an all manners and ways without even sparing a thought as to why they should, or why people are into those niche things they know nothing about. It is the common thought that all a man should think of is ‘muscles, chicks, cars and money’ and everything else is meaningless, for they should stay muscle brained, that way they are more easily made to do as the people in charge deem suitable. I deem such oppressive mindsets as an insult to human intelligence and creativity. However, I take solace in the fact that those who think that wall will never know the finer things in life, the more cerebral, the more… cultured things, and journeys and stories of deep thought, emotion and enjoyment. At the very least, until they are willing to open their minds and expand their horizons instead of just hating something because they do not know or because it does not match their ideology or programming.

But ppl are being raised and taught that speech and silence are both violence. That’s where the danger lies. It’s up to ppl who know better to try to mitigate that as much as we can. Thankfully it’s starting to seem like things are starting to ever so slowly shift back, but it’s still a huge thing to be vigilant against.

Well while people like to act like we shouldn’t ever be affected by opinions, the thing that bothers me most is when someone’s opinion is completely unfounded. Like you’re deciding to criticize a whole group of people just because you assume something about who they are. That type of stuff legitimately bothers me.

Plus the two of them are just so heavily linked thematically. And Chloe's coat easily abides a properly attached shark tail, unlike the abomination they did with the swimsuit body.

Shion’s card is the second from the left (her right hand). From left to right, the cards are: Subaru (leg), Shion (hand), Aqua (hand), and Choco (leg). The card that’s “missing” is Ayame’s. As for the shuffle opening, that’s Chloe. Notice the extra shade in some part.

That was Chloe at the start still wearing Shion's outfit from last year, compare the cleavage lol. The exodia part is that one card represents each of the members of 2nd gen, the missing card is Ayame because she's already there.

The reference is how the members of the second gen call themselves HoloExodia because they rarely come together but when they do you win

It's because black and white complement slim figures whereas brighter colors complement more filled in figures.

They used the same concept for their first video of the year last year as well; the beginning of this one is actually an easter egg referring to that video, the location being the same before the beam blast, and, well...that isn't Shion. 😉 ETA: The 2023 Shuffle Medley is uploaded as a standalone video on the Hololive main channel. I've been patiently waiting for the 2024 version as well given the earthquake kinda scrambled everything up, but I'm starting to worry I'm going to have to give people a gigantic timestamp link to that kinda compressed stream audio...

@@Tony_AM009 Yes, it was the Chloe that sang Mage of Violet last year. They hid her face behind the hat but there's...a whole lot _more_ on the girl than would be Shion this year.

It was Bacod pronounced as bachot which Sana couldn't do.

Oh and Laplus has always wanted to cover Kiara’s song for such a long time so she got her chance even if only part of the song. Yes she is very good at singing and also dancing.

I think if I saw it on Laplus first, I'd get behind that. But I've come to associate that outfit with Kiara's "sizes" and Laplus normally wears such wide upper body clothes to see her skinny in such a tight outfit is a bit strange to me.
