First time listening to this song, I was legitimately tense and feeling of anxiety. The song and video blend well into a rollercoaster of emotions that feel so genuine you'd almost think your there living in that moment. NF is by far the most powerful director of music and cinematography I've ever seen for rap music. I absolutely love it and hope he never stops.

I love story telling tracks, especially the ones that form part of a series or trio of tracks, not many rappers can pull it of and NF absolutely nailed it I had goosebumps the whole way through as you could see it building up from when she first went to the gas station

5:35 "Oh Shit!!" Is fucking right my guy 😂 The intensity is amazing in this song and video. Side Note: why the hell is everyone in this world bothered by cursing. The only time i ever get mad at it, is when they use it in a context that hurts someone for no reasons. Words just words. However I do agree that NF abstaining from cursing in his lyrics gave him a huge amount of words to work with.

A thing I noticed with his album is that he really mastered the art of building up tension. The way he gets louder and more intense just hooks you. The release of all that pressure is also in such a natural way just to build it up again right after that. And it's not just that he gets louder or faster. The lyrics are perfectly fitted to the speed of the song too. NF's just amazing man
