The swing is from How Could You Leave Us because of the porch swing in the video that most likely is a childhood memory, The balloons were introduced in Why along with the shopping cart. The river is possibly from Let You Down from the scene where he is drowning in a river while he watches. The balloons represent burdens while the people dressed in white represent good but all good things in his life carry some sort of burden which is why they have black balloons. Finally when NF is in the shopping cart at the end and the man in white puts the white clothes in his cart that shows that even though he is depressed there are people in his life (most likely either his family or his fans) that he still has to act like he is fine towards and he doesn't like that. Also NF will be preforming at Lollapalooza this Summer so it is completely possible that he agreed to perform there to get eyes on him for this single to drop and then release an album (Search) right before Lollapalooza and perform it there as well. Like this comment so people know.

In NF's album "Perception" the main concept was that the doors were locked, but the keys were in NF's hands. Because like Crypt pointed out that the cell from "Outcast" was in the background, and at the end of "Outcast" you can hear the keys clanging against the lock..... Nathan opened the door.

My interpretation of the symbolisms in the video: The balloons represent burdens. Everyone is wearing white (a mask to fit into society) and just wandering about in the wasteland called life (some being pulled and lead by their burdens). NF is wearing his true colours, trying to be himself, and so his track through the wasteland is more difficult. The lady on the bench could be his mom that OD'd. In the end he climbs into the cart, having a breakdown. And someone comes and gives him white clothes, signifying how he has to wear a mask (especially on stage) that everything is alright, to make it in life. Take the clothes and leave behind the cart. Even so he doesn't touch the white clothes, and sits in his cart that his burdens are tied to (you can think of the cart as his mind in a way).

NF is such under rated rapper hitting people in the feels with almost every song he comes out with. i’m christian and the fact that one of his song say christian doesn’t define me as a perfect person blows me away. he’s just Aagghhh so good

Do you notice when he starts he is struggling to push the cart but when he begins to rap. He starts to pull the cart and take the lead. Its almost like it symbolizes he gains more strength to go forward when he starts rapping. Love that.
