My mother bought me this album, Three Dollar Bill Y'all, bc Significant Other (the one I'd asked for w Nookie, Break Stuff, and N 2 Gether Now) had a parental advisory - some nice salesperson had put the price tag over the warning on Three Dollar Bill Y'all. My mother was almost livid, but Faith got me through so many of those teenage days after school. Thanks for the Monday morning reaction ! 💖🥂

Man I think I’ve seen this whole line up and different shows back in the day. Wished I had went to family values. That show was so damn bad ass. I don’t remember if it was orgy or Korn I saw first think it was Orgy. Cuz orgy was one of my favs back then their shows are fun. One concert I loved so much was the final show by Coal Chamber. And I saw my favorite band of all time like 6 times and that’s ill Niño. Also seen Nonpoint 6 times and also Sevendust. Ahh good times back in the day. Was a much better time back then. Shows were way better than they are today. Today all there is is the bands name on a banner and that’s it lol shows back then had props and everything.

yep that was a banger. finally thank you for this reaction. Another ones from Limp Bizkit I would recommend from the same album: Stuck, Counterfeit. But if you want to see another different side of them..... Behind blue eyes is a good example how they can change their sound. And if it comes to a different band......Staind - Spleen another heavy and chunky one.

Limp Bizkit headlined my first big international concert (Big Day Out 2001 ending the night after an epic Rammstein set), and at this moment headlined my most recent international concert when I saw them in November last year. There is an energy that they unleash in you in their live show, which I experienced both as fresh faced 19 year old back in the day, and as an angsty 42 year old teen last year 😅 me and my two friends I went with couldn't help but jump around like crazy old farts in the mosh, especially for their final song Break Stuff. Very cathartic experience, highly recommended for anyone with the opportunity to see them live (and for the love of God don't see them in seated areas, jumping and jostling is mandatory!!!)

My first exposure to Limp Bizkit was on an MTV Summer special when they performed this song live. As a kid I was blown away. Wes came out dressed as a bunny mascot if I remember correctly. They just killed those performances.

I was a huge Limp Bizkit fan. Wore the baggy pants. I had a red Dale Jr hat I wore backwards and even tried growing a soul patch. Then I started getting into NWOAHM bands which led me to bands like Lamb of God and Chimaira. Chimaira actually started off as a Nu Metal band though. So again I request SP Lit by them.

You can win Oscars for writing film scores. I think Trent Reznor won a few. I got Rob Zombie to sign my arm, just because I wanted him to touch my arm lol. So many Nu Metal bands covered 80s pop songs lol ! You had to have one or you were not Nu Metal ! Machine Head even did Message in a Bottle when they went through their NM phase heh heh . Disturbed did Land of Confusion , Fear Factory did Cars by Gary Newman . Hell , Korn did a nursery rhyme Knick Knack Paddy Whack Giva Dog a Bone type shit hahaha ! Im sure there is more not coming to mind . But hey , being real , I cant say I didnt like some of that back in the day .

Not to be a troll, i mostly hate this band buuuut... between 1999 and 2001 i saw them live twice with friends who were into it and i gotta admit i had a blast. Their live sets were so much fun. I got to see Fred surf on a piece of plywood over the crowd at Woodstock '99. That was one of the largest scariest pits I'd ever been in since it was so crowded and people were going completely savage that whole weekend. Good times.

Speaking of Nu Metal there has been a debate on who started Nu Metal. Some said it was Korn. Some say it was Limp Bizkit, and so on so forth, but who i REALLY think started Nu Metal was Rage Against the Machine i personally belive that Rage was the kick starter for the genre and you can find this on the self titled debute album where they combined elements of Rock, Funk, Hip Hop, Metal, and Political Rap and showed the world that you can mix all kinds of music into one, Korn and Limp bizkit saw this and made they're own version of the genre with the addition of down tuned guitars and aggressive lyrics not saying that they Ripped off Rage Against the Machine or anything but it seemed that to me after Rage popped up that's when everyone started to jump on that Nu Metal train

Limp Bizkit WAS THE NuMetal. Many other most important groups- but Korn is the more true metal while was hip hop with a metal twist..... twist I truly think Korn and Limp trade most I important NuMetal bands ever- But not as big overall as Korn
