When I saw them live back in 2008, the beat on this track was so heavy and loud, it felt like the entire field was shaking. Incredible live act.

Man, Fat of the Land was good but was way more produced for MTV compared to their prior album Music for the Jilted generation. Their law, and Voodoo people, alone smoke anything off FOTL in terms of badassery.

The Album "Music for a Jilted Generation" was such a classic cross over album, most tracks of it are sooo good.

@@jonibz1456 I loved Jilted. I think I loved all their albums. Even this one (though it's probably my least favourite; I enjoyed Spitfire and a couple other songs but you could definitely feel that it took quite a diversion from "core" Prodigy). Break and Enter and then Their Law was such an amazing introduction to this album. And of course it had the amazing No Good (Start the Dance).

When I interviewed Liam a few years ago, he still maintains that the album Music For The Jilted Generation is his favourite album, and that Poison is his favourite track of all time. I'd suggest that, or even other tracks from that album like Voodoo People, No Good Start The Dance, or Their Law 😎

One of my favorites by The Prodigy and, weirdly, not brought up enough when talking about their all time best tracks. Not saying its THE best, but I'd say Top 10. And Juliette Lewis' vocals are just perfect.

Luv h6 shirt. Great beat and interesting video. Yes Vincent price was in house of wax there was a remake that Paris Hilton may have been in. Vincent price, John Carradine, Christopher Lee were horror elites. The writers that worked on x files went on created the show supernatural. Song suggestion would be live version of must got lost by j geils band (mid 70s) that had cool intro (slightly rapping) . Lead singer Peter wolf (ex husband to actress Faye Dunaway). J geils band was from Boston.

Y'all need to react to the Prodigy's songs Diesel Power(feat. Kool Keith) and MindFields(a play on the words Mine Field. As in a mine field of the mind). They are two of my favorite songs by them and probably their best songs. Off of the Fat of the Land album. The Prodigy is Industrial DnB. Bordering on Jungle(the music) at times. At least, in my opinion. Awesome reaction🤘🏼🔥 PS. Flint was pyro, yes. RIP Flint and Prodigy(rapper), since you mentioned him.

❤ my great accomplishment is my two sons raising them a single mom and turned out to be the best sons I could ever want no troublemakers lol, married and gave me grandkids ❤. I love prodigy they are awesome, maybe later you can play Outta Space it's a great song. Anyways Hollywood and Smokey stay cool stay real love ya both, Dueces always ✌️✌️😎

The genre is actually called "Big Beat", it was kinda of a mix-up of different genres, from what was the dance craze/rave scene back in the early to late 90's, and softly into the early 2000's... especially in America. The Chemical Brothers, The Crystal Method, are some of the examples.

Amazing band, seemed to be loved by Metalheads all over and I've never quite put my finger on as to why. Maybe it's the hardness of the music. I like the song Mescaline but with the Techno Viking video.

Spitfire is an Iconic British plane. This song is always overlooked, was in Prodigy’s somewhat downturn in relevance, just before the re explosion of electronic music late 00’s. Saw them headline the second stage in a tent at Download Festival 2006 at this time and it was honestly the most mental show. Predominately metal festival, crowd went fucking nuts, they had to stop for 10 minutes to calm it down

She featured on 3 tracks on this album (being the main vocalist on 2 of them) and there were a few other female vocalists featured. As for Spitfire, she sings just the verses. The opening vocals are performed by Natalie Appleton (of All Saints) who is Liam Howlett's wife. Funnily enough, this was revealed 14 years after the song came out, as most people (myself included) presumed that it was Juliette Lewis who was performing those vocals as well.

The Prodigy are just an electronic dance music group. There's no specific genre. They've transitioned from very child-like "hardcore" rave music in the mid 80s (heavy on samples, highly energetic and somewhat of a parody of the genre nowadays, but still one of my most cherished albums from my childhood), through other genre influences like rock, big beat, punk, and than back to good old dance music with latter albums. This album was early 2000s when Liam went sort of "solo" if you can call it that? Keith and Maxim weren't really involved in this one, it was just him (with collaborations with other artists of course). It's not my favourite album. But still has some great tracks on it.
