I sympathize. Death is something we are all aware of, and seem to like to pretend it doesn't get to us. But with cancer, you are forced into the unfortunate task of dealing with it slowly (as was the case in my family) and prolonging grief in ludicrous ways. When a loved one is dying like that, you begin the grief process while they are still alive, and that is just not easy on anybody. Thankfully, we have music... art... literature to make things more tolerable. At the very least, hearing something that reminds you that you are not alone in these feelings, that can go a long ways in helping a person. This was my real existential Tool album as well.

its the Pinnacle of Tools writing from a direct to the heart pov, they became a little more convoluted (still great) imo, they are not as grand here as the following album but the balance of technical and feeling is just perfect. the OG Pushit is their most underrated track IMO

The funny thing is "Die Eier Von Satan" in Polish means the same as mentioned here (eier = balls / eggs = Polish 'jaja') but also "(robić sobie) jaja z" = "(making) jokes of". So, it's double pun including Polish: "Jokes made of Satan"

And the lyrics are a recipe for "magic" Die Eire Von Satan! With no eggs!

Die eir von satan was made to be scary, like a Nazi rally, but its intended for you to look past, and research, and if you do, you eliminate the fear, and are left with tasty treats. This should be applied to anything scary. Its much like a fear innoculation

This is on point! Push It stands on its own and is insane. But, then the first time you hear Maynard, "we going to try something a little different. We need you to find a comfortable space, but vulnerable as well". My god, how wonderful, no one talked like that back then. And then you journey off with Tool on something so familiar but new. And you love it! But then through random listening; the studio version hits your speakers and you recall the awe of that sound of Push It from Aenima and get completely caught up in this epic song. It is incredible.
