Why does anyone listen to or respect Joe Budden? He's a washed up rapper that whines constantly and is jealous of the new generation. He has little to no knowledge of the rap game, and has no idea what he's talking about. He proves himself wrong every year, lmao.
Damn this timing is crazy cause yachty just had budden on his safe space podcast and high key spent the whole thing getting his pay back for that everyday struggle interview
@@cookiemonster64 I mean Budden literally flipped his lid all because yachty said "im happy"... if hearing that someone else is happy makes your blood boil to the point where you have to actively try to hurt them in the moment just to say "see, you arent happy" then yeah, your diabolical, literally a hunter and killer of happy emotions
Joe Budden, a one hit wonder with his "pump pump pump pump pump it uuup!" pop-ish single talking about twerking and "cant spit out girl, gotta slurp that" or whatever, is shitting on kids 20+ year younger than him for doing new shit and is putting himself as the face of "real hip hop" while during his 5 seconds of fame he was RIDDICULEEEEEDDDD for being a trashy white frat party rapper in opposition to older cats and conscious rap. 2020s hit and hes acting like he's Chuck D from Public Enemy... god hes pathetic. And thays prolly why you feel that. He probably thinks about this ish every night LMAO how he was a clown of the early 00s and tries to take it out on the kids acting like others did to him. Difference is Yachty is actually in his own lane, while Budden just copied crappy southern pop-party sound and tried to run with it to NJ.
I am 52 years old and there is no way I am hating on the newer generation. When I was around 20, so many people told me to dress and act my age, why am I still listening to such and such. Coming from that place, I do NOT hate on younger people trying to find their place in life & HipHop. So most of their music is not speaking to me, so what?! It is not supposed to speak to me. They have a different kind of target audience and their audience is loving it. To my fellow old heads, sit back and let the younger generation have their time, we had ours!
Budden was kinda right, as successful as Yachty is, he’s definitely more jaded/less happy as before. Idk if it’s the internet or the negativity of the media but Budden called it, money and fame didn’t bring him happiness.
Joe definitely came off as a hater in the original interview but he ended up being somewhat right fasho. Yachty be getting on my nerves every time bro be talking fr
@@ifwrainbow190 how? Bro crashed out a couple weeks ago about Karrah boo and his boy Mitch. He’s over here angry and frustrated and you saying he’s chilling 😂, he’s letting Drake colonize his sound taking him off Supersoak
You wrong about Joe and Lil yachty, Joe.didnt say he should stop having fun he said have fun and take care of your business and that is exactly what he did so it looks like he took Joes advice honestly
Though he did dispense such advice in the most aggro, unstable, and entertaining style that made it easy to forget he was actually giving advice at the time.
@@earlpipe9713 I don't disagree but I was just pointing out that yatchy is still having fun but is no longer in a 360 deal knows how much money he's getting paid he knows what kind of deal he's in now so I'm just saying that everything Joe told him to do he ended up doing because let's be honest if he didn't he would have been forgotten about. But Joe was an a-hole about it but be honest he's an a-hole for breakfast lunch and dinner, he snores a hole
The reality is, no man can predict the future. The OG's have wisdom and experience, no different than the youth have potential and growth. Neither are reliable indicators of what's going to happen 4-5 years from now. However, if there's one thing I've learned, is that you can't stop the future from happening. Whatever will be, will be. OG's should be more receptive to giving the youth guidance and encouragement rather than vitriol and ire. Conversely, the youth should thank the OG's who had a hand in laying down the framework for them that allowed them to grow in the way they did. We're helping each other out at the end of the day. Let's kill this cycle of the last generation hating on the previous one and appreciate that we all had a hand in creating the culture we have now.
Joe knew how messed up the industry can be to rappers. It looks like he was trying to get him to understand not to be naive. Cars and clothes are nice but what’s your long term plan.
He could’ve said it better cause it sounds like he is just a bitter old man whose dreams didn’t come true, you can hear the frustration in his voice, why else would he get so mad when Yaughty was so chill? He hates seeing people younger than him succeed, he acted like that with the Migos as well, there’s other examples too
Joe confuses his own stupidity and bad mistakes as everyone's. He made horrible decisions throughout his career. Hes a failed musician and successful host, he really has no ground to stand on when it comes to the conversation of the music business.
"this is my fourth album yo, this my FOURTH ALBUM I ain't made a dime yet, This n** made one album, he makin' wild Records" if joe didnt turned out to be the mad rapper himself lol
Lol Joe Budden was salty asf…it’s crazy how he’s tryna to tell yachty how he was feeling..can’t nobody tell me how to feel about myself wtf. Joe like the NBA before the 3 point line and the new genre is what we have today
Saying uzi had the biggest year n none of his songs has made it through the “summer hits” phase is crazy. I’ll give him his credit for being the first number one hip hop album of the year. Uzi is about to hit his unc years
Louaista you do know that The Breakfast Club did invite Takashi 69 bacK and it was after he got out of jail/prison where 69 returned to TBC and was talking about how he went to OblocK for 15 seconds 🤷🏾♂️ did you forget about that? I had to rewind "no wonder they never invited him back" 5× bkuz I remember so vividly watching 69 (back) on The Breakfast Club
That yachty interview had to happen, Joe buds checked him and yachty understood the equation. Respect to both because being an mc isn’t nice hip/hop isn’t easy.
Charlamagne is right though. Beating a case isnt pleaing out... Beating a case is either being found not guilty, or there being a mistrial that isn't being retried (if it's being retried, you didn't beat your case)
@@feedgotcha its literally not. Beating a case means winning your case in court or having charges dropped or dismissed. Not pleading to a lesser crime cause you turned witnees. You know nothing of what ur speaking on.
Yeah.. Charla won that interview. Not a fan of either, but being convicted, sentenced, and getting a reduced sentence for being a snitch means that Charla won.
a rapper with a talk show doesn't scream ballen, that convo was 100% just an old dude being pissed that, that kid made it look simple and was showing 0 respect for it dudes acting like a dogs fighting for a bone. congrats on the dude staying chill during that because on that level of disrespect it not easy keeping a level head while the shit is being flung your way
