Well yall gotta give jaden a chance to find a Quinton Miller then he'll be in competition. (Lol just being petty) drake cool but he's been exposed how do we know what he really wrote
Who cares about chet tho...we are talking about rap...and who cares about chet's definition of what rap is? That definition belongs to those who created it, not to the emulators.
Growing up in the streets means nothing in today's world anyways! Gangsta rap is over, no one is talking about robbing, shooting anymore so who cares if a rapper was poor or not, it's all about good music!
@@stevenyia2778 you be surprise the education some of them really have and background they've really had, now they sell stupidity on a stick just for fun and people buy it
Why is this video basically saying only people who were poor are allowed to become rappers? I get if the artists are lying (like Tyga) saying they came from below the poverty line, but anyone can become a rapper as long as they got a good flow and have talent.
Christina Boyce because originally rap was created to express the struggles, issues and oppression blacks were under but black sold out and only rap about sex money and women and killing each other so most of us forgot what rap was intended for which was to uplift the down trotted and of course you can only rap about it if you experience it or it will be fake. Back in the day rap was poetry.
Nichole what makes a rapper born rich different than one born poor, sure one had a harder come up but it’s where u end up that matters, not where you start
What is your definition of a real rapper like all people do is discredit others no matter how hard they work to prove them self music is learned where you come from isn't the deciding factor
Alluring Bliss a lot but not all and most of these artists I’m defending like jaden have been around long b4 “nowadays” people just started to pay them any attention nowadays and there good, bad, lazy, undeserving and underrated in every industry so please stop acting like every artist is getting a free ride or sum shit every artist isn’t lil pump
I just watched a Nicki Swift and she said Drake worked in acting, in Canada (Degrassi) as a teen and the pay helped to support him and his mom. So you're right...where are they getting this stuff and why the contradiction?
Forresst hill is an expeniave neighboured renting there alone is literally a basement is anout 2500 plus.. that aint cheap... ifyou have money to rent that... then younhave money...houses there are 2 -3 some even around there about close to 10 mill...
Rap is lame because of this. Street cred used to mean something. Rap was aspirational, because the people who made it came from nothing. Now it’s just some Kardashian bullshit where people with no talent just act.
5:21 owning a range rover doesn't necessarily mean you're rich, and not all (black)rappers have a rags-to-riches story.thet come from all echelons of society
Range rovers start at about $100,000. If you have enough money spend that on a car, and live a nice area, then you are not anywhere near poor, and you also aren't really middle class either.
Rap literally started in the most poverty, drug and crime ridden parts of New York. So there is some type of soul put into it. Not saying no one cant do rap, but the best and most authentic came from the struggle.
Google his upbringing. When his folks divorce his Dad moved back to the States. Ended up in jail. His mother was a single mother in a poor neighbourhood here in Toronto. She decided to take on debt and move to an upscale neighbourhood renting a basement apartment to get him into a better school. He went to a casting call for Degrassi, he got a part. The money was used to support him and his mother and his music. He had humble beginnings is my point.
Nicki Swift you obviously haven't asked Google the right questions. It was so easy to find background information on Tyga, his parents and grandparents. ✌
