Thanks for that. Yes I was bottling for 2 years before giving up. I wish this was available when I started bottling. This device when used with a pressure fermenter makes a really great bottling option.

We did look at making a dual filling version but the reality is that it would cost about the same price as purchasing two of the single units. So I think it's better value to purchase two single fillers.

make sure to do a firmware update. We are already on the third firmware release now. We also have more features in the pipeline too so I would say another firmware will be relased soon too. When you have the beer cold and you have setup the machine correctly you will get very little foaming and therefore loose very little in carbonation. Once you apply the crown seal the only weak link is the gasket under the crown seal. These have quite a slow leakage rate but this will be the same irrespective of the filling method.

The duofiller has the advantage of being stainless steel body. Also the duofiller has two heads. This unit has the advantage of: - being internet connected and logs and syncs profiles - It is much easier to calibrate - You can save many different profiles making it easy to switch between different can's bottles - The screen is a massive advantage as it's wasy easier to use and tweak settings. The duofiller requires waiting for number of flashes of a light and holding down buttons for a number of sec etc. - This unit is better value - This unit has a completely external pinch valve so you can remove the whole liquid assembly for washing/cleaning. The duofiller has the beer line run into the internals of the machine making it harder to maintain and clean - The duofiller requilres a specif regulator pressure so you need to regulate your gas down to a narrow operating range. This unit has an integrated regulator to lower the pressure down so you can feed any pressure above 2psi and this device will work. @@KegLand oh yeah, the screen definitely looks good to me, I'm not a fan of the "push button for x time" solution. Also the height adjustable liquid and gas post is great. In our case it's not an issue to set specific pressure for purging with the double regulator, but I can see what you mean. Will you be making a dou version as well? Who is your European distributor, Brouwland?

Yes we will do a video on this. It's not difficult to get low DO with this device. Ultimately all you need to do is make sure you purge for at least 1 sec and then cap on foam and you will get results that are similar to a commercial packaging line.

@@KegLand any concerns with additional O2 pickup from using silicone tubing? I've eliminated silicone from the cold side of my brewery - will the pinch valve work with PVC or other flexible tubing?

By the way I don't have this automatic filler but the nukatap bottle filler

I used the 9.5mm OD Eva barrier tube but I used some needle nose pliers to stretch the internal diameter open a little and then it fits onto the barb ok.

We have about a dozen pre-set profiles already on the machine when you purchase it from new. With that said it's quite easy to make new profiles.

Yes we already have a 500ml can preset but it's really easy to make your own presets too.

The right length will depend on a bunch of factors. 1.8mm 4mm ID at 2C is normally about right

It's funny that you say that. This is something we were planning on doing already. You might notice we have some holes in the stainless platform already. This is for other attachments like the drip tray.

If you are fairly quick you can probably get two of these and run them side by side. Most customers will fill a bottle or can in under 20sec so given that is the case one person could probably handle two machines running side by side.

At the moment the product is selling out faster than we can make it so it's not likely to be on the aliexpress store any time soon. We prefer to supply this to distributors first and then if any other stock is available we will put some on aliexpress.

@@KegLand The problem is that the only distributor in Russia is unlikely to supply this device due to canning unpopularity. However, I would really like to buy this device. Can you help with this somehow?

If you are using cans you have the advantage of being able to cap on foam. This is what most breweries do with hoppy beers. Capping on foam will enable you to get down to under 100ppb oxygen in the final packaged product. If you are canning then counter pressure is a waste of time. Counter pressure is most useful to eliminate foaming during the filling process but quite frankly if you are trying to cap on foam you intentionally want to have some foam so it's counter productive to use counter pressure.

I've always capped on foam and never had a problem. I was manually filling with a beer gun. I'll eventually switch to this. If you purge and fill from bottom and cap on foam I don't really understand how at a hobby level that's a viable worry. Seems like one of those homebrewing myths that carry-on.

If your liquid isn't already carbonated from the fermenter or keg and you would like it to be, then you'd need to add something like carbonation drops to do it for you in the bottle. All the CO2 purge is doing is to squeeze out the oxygen already in the empty bottle so it preserves the liquid you're about to insert from oxidation.

If you are using carbonation drops to carbonate in the bottle then you will still be required to do this. If however you are bottling already carbonated beer then you can avoid this step.
